Default What Do You Think Ed's Life Was Like After "Chico and the Man" Took Place?

If there were more seasons, what do you think would have happened to Ed Brown? Now since Jack Albertson died in 1981, I'll say Ed died in 1981. Not everyone here has to go along with that though. Do you think Ed and Raul would still be together?
Let's see the last cast consisted of:
Ed Brown
Raul Garcia
Louie Wilson
Monica
I'd say before Ed dies, he meets a woman, falls in love and the two get married and live in Ed's Garage. They treat Raul and Monica like their own kids. And Louie would be like the crazy Uncle. Ed would turn his office into a nostalgic room. With photos and reminders of both Margaret, his late wife and Chico, his late friend.

I'd say he'd still be with Raul until the end. It would've been interesting to see how it turned out. Still we would've rather had Chico alive...

Are yopu referring to Jack as himself or the chaecter?
I believe you mean Jack.
Well if it is true that Jack left Freddie in his will they were very close and as such i imagine it would be much the same as if he had lost his child. He tried to look after Freddie.
I don't know if Jack was diagnosed with the Cancer that took his life before or after Freddie died but I beklieve when Freddie died a part of him died too (as with all who knew and loved him) and it was harder for him, he lost his spunk.

sorry I misunderstood your post. Since i never watch any of the episodes without Freddie except the one where they tell Raul about him, cannot even guess what it would be like.
sorry if i ruined the thread

No need to apologize. I guess I should consider that most people here don't watch the last season. It was just in general, what do you think Ed did after Chico left? Yeah, but by the last six episodes, Raul had a van of his own, and a teenage girl named Monica moved into the garage as well. That really happened. I was just wondering if anyone here felt that they would stay together until Ed's death. (Morbid enough for you? )

I think Ed would of stayed with Raul to give him a guiding hand if nothing else.
