Default MAD AS HELL AT NICK @ NITE!!!!!!!! Please Read and Respond

I am so FRIGGIN Tired of having Cheers pre empted for that DAMN Cosby show every Friggin time you turn around Nick @ Nite is shoving another all Cosby Show Marathon down our throats makes me wanna PUKE!

I mean does Bill Cosby own Nick @ Nite or does he hold the morgage on the network its ridiculous no show should dominate a networks schedule like that show does 7 days a week 52 weeks a year that DAMN Cosby show is on. I know it was very popular and critically acclaimed but DUHHHHHH

Cheers was too and won a lot more emmy awards I watched Cosby off and on in the 80's but its 2003 and the show should be put out to pasture. Poor Wings got maybe 10 days or 2 weeks on at 11 pm and then they were relegated to the great 1 episode at 1 am slot Nick @ Nite said they get very low ratings

Hell they never got the chance to build up an audience and their ratings until they pot on that idiotic overrated three's company which shouldn't be allowed on instead of cheers on weekends Im just MAD AS HeLL @ NICK @ NITE!!!!!!!

lol This board is so fed up with that network we don't even say its name anymore. You have no Idea how many post, how many emails we've sent to those people, and nothing! I found out the other day that Bill Cosby has some stock in Nick at Nite. So im guessing that has something to do with the overplaying of it. It's gotten better because remember those days where it use to be an Hour Kid Say the Darnest Things then an hour of Cosby then an Hour of I think it was Coach at the time and then another Hour of Cosby and THEN cheers. It got ridiculous! Nick at Nite also announced that Bill Cosby is going to premere the first ever Nick at Nite Cartoon. Plus with Little bill during Nick Jr. It leads me to believe that Bill Cosby has a lot of power down in Nickelodeon.

Hehe--We'll start calling it "The-Network-That-Must-Not-Be Named" (Sorry for the Harry Potter reference, but I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the fifth book ).

There's no reason to be angry at Nick At Nite. I don't think they have any plans of dropping Cheers anytime soon. They show a lot of Cosby Show; I agree with you there. But they also show Cheers three times a night - more than most other shows on their schedule. Hell, poor Family Ties has been relegated to 5 am purgatory.

I generally don't watch Nick At Nite airings, anyway, because they're hacked up pretty badly. I'm eagerly awaiting the next ten (!) DVD sets.

i don't know if john ritter has owns a stock or not. but i am tired w/ the network that must not be named, too. i mean instead of having cosby ooon at 12 too, they should put wings or family ties or one of those shows that air at 4 or 5 or 6 am.

Yea but you have to take into consideration that maybe the other shows weren't getting the same ratings that Cheers Threes Company and Cosby are. Although AGAIN I have to say that Nick does play favorites with who they choose to move or stay. They love to play this with Cheers this school year (september-june) EVERY single time a new show came on, who was the first show they would move without question? Cheers, and I believe we spent about 3 weeks with an hour of kids say then an 2 hours of cosby and cheers at 1. Also like teddybare said every friday and saturday they show a half an hour of cheers because of their Nickelodeon programming goes on for an hour extra, and instead of them making sense since it cuts into cosby time and NOT cheers time letting cheers be on first then waiting to twelve o'clock anyways because cosby will be on then. That's not what they do, they put cosby in our timeslot then threes company again then again cosby and then finally at 1:30 we have a half an hour of cheers. Yes Cheers is for right now being respected by nick at nite. But let me say this, as soon as all those other new shows come on you can kiss Cheers goodbye to where they'll put it in a 3:30 am timeslot or worse.

why do you say that Three's Company is moronic. what don't you like about it.

I used to say the same about TC and Cheers, but then I decided to watch them and i'm hooked. They are my 2 favorite sitcoms ever. I like TC a little more though.

I personally don't like threes company and i've seen all of the episode. It's not moronic is just the "howdy doody" type jokes get tiring after a while. Nothing happens except a few character changes, the situation is always the same. Also it's a little unrealistic when NOTHING ever happens between any of them.

i'm not worried the least bit, when those enw shows come on i bet after about 2 to 3 weeks they will be pushed up to the late slots and shows like perfect strangers and head of the class will no longer be on N@N
