What program plays .mpg files? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I just downloaded some .mpg files.... not mpeg, and nothing will play them. Do you know of a program that does that I can download? Thanks.

On my computer QuickTime plays those.

They are the same as mpeg's just a different file extension. You can play them in Windows Media Player.

How come it says it needs a codec or something everytime I try to play them??

Because Windows is screwed up. You have to find the file online. I never needed one for mpegs I needed one for avi files.

Try reading this they have codec's for Mpeg's that you can download. I can't tell you which one to pick because I don't know how your computer acts. Well, you know what I mean.

My windows Media Player does too but I just figured she already tryed that and it didnt work
