Post What do you think each cast members best look was?

I think Charlotte looked best from 81-82 till she left. I didn't like the original Mrs. Garrett look and she was way too thin in the 80-81 season, but from 81-86, she looked healthy.

Lisa looked good the entire time IMO, save the awful perm she had at the beginning of season 7.

Mindy was never a beauty queen, and she knew that. But by seasons 7-9, she had found a look that suited her and made her quite attractive.

Kim started out adorable, somewhat like a female Gary Coleman at the time, but I don't think anyone predicted how pretty she would be the last 4 seasons.

Nancy saw the biggest high and lows on the show. I loved her ponytail, yet hated her 84-85 hairdo. But however, when she started getting it more styled and everything (like seasons 8 and 9), I think she got very pretty with the look she kept.

What does everyone else think?

i think mrs g's hair looked like cotton candy but she maintained an attractive "older" look througout the whole show

lisa whelchel had pretty good hair the whole time and i really liked it in the first season and when she got that kinda 80's style in 86-88

mindy cohn looked great from 86-88 when her hair was dyed redish, buy it look best when she left it down like that and not in a ponytail(she looks like a cat when she does that!)

kim fields was really cute when she was little and she remained cute tthroughout the whole series. what can i say, it's tootie!

Nancy McKeon! god i love her! i think she looked great no matter what she did with her hair, it was her eyes that stood out the most! i think when her hair was in a ponytail, she looked younger and more innocent, once she took it down, she seemed more mature ( and she was! ) but I LOVE NANCY McKEON!!

George looked hot the whole time and andy was kinda cute!

this is all IMO. keep postin!

Blair: (makes wheezing noise)
Jo:i have when you do that!
Blair: do what?
Jo:SIGH!
Blair: it wasnt a sigh!
Jo: weel, if it wasn't a sigh then you've got a slow leak!
Tootie: C'mon guys cool it!

Blair: (makes wheezing noise again)
Jo: you're doing it again!
Blair: i happen to be breathing!
Jo: you do it just to annoy me!
Blair: i do it to keep from dying!
Jo: no there's an idea!!!!

Blair: he asked you on a...ugh!
Tootie: date blair, we call it a date!
Jo: yeah some wingding tomorrow night.
Nat: could that be your wingding Blair?
Blair: i dont go to wingdings, i go to cotillions.
Jo: well if this thing is a dance at the Highcrest Country Club, then your cottilion and my wingding are the same thing!

I gotta admit, I never noticed any of them a lot except for Lisa Whelchel. She always looked good. She did have a couple of weird hairstyles, but she still looked great. Mrs. G, Natalie, and Tootie didn't do a lot for me. Jo looked ok with a ponytail. Blair has them all beat. But I guess the show wasn't about a beauty contest. Blair looked good, but the show still needed the other girls.

i agree with john that mrs. g. looked too thin towards the beginning, but towards her last season, she looked good.

i really liked lisa's look in the 86-87 season. she was alwayz very pretty, but i think she looked best then.

mindy cohn...i luv her! she's so hilarious! ok, well i think that the time she looked the best was when she had her hair dyed that redish color. but i liked it when it was straight and down (for example, when andy's grandmother stole her story; now that hair was perfect!), not when it was scrunched or in a braid. in that season, she had the perfect hair and make up and for that time, she had the perfect clothes.

i think the best look for kim fields was towards the end after she got her braces off. i really didn't think that she was going to become that pretty. i guess i was wrong.

i honestly liked nancy's haircut between 86 and 88. i think it suited her character well. i mean, jo was not the primpy, prissy girl, so obviously she's really not going to care that much on how her hair looks. i think that was a perfect cut.

what does everyone else think?

Jo: 1987-88, she looked the least hideous this season!

Natalie: 1986-87, 87-88, she became the best looking one on the show, really good hair.

Tootie: 1984-85, the Drive in Episode especially! She's been sporting some truly hideous styles in 86-87 so far!

Blair: 1982-83.

Mrs Garrett: 83-84.

I liked Jo's hair the best when it was long the first couple seasons she was on, I esp like when she would wear it lose, for ex when they were in jail during New girl part 2. I also liked it whens he had just gotten it cut and started wearing it curled(like at the beg of season six when she is playing piano in the credits) Tootie was always cute, and she did turn out to be really pretty. I liked Nat's hair best seasons 6-9 and Blairs was always good except in season 7.

I think Blair looked gor-jus on the ep when her dad got indicted, with it back in thet truly 80:s bow, yes, we all wore them!! Mindy looked good in the beginning of the Ednas eps, I did not like Mindy red at all, Mrs. G, yes, it was red cotton candy, but she was not meant to be trendy!!

i don't see mrs. G. being too thin early on at all!! In the Like Mother,Like Daughter ep. when it's French parents nite, and she's in that spandex-looking skirt, singing "I love Paris in the Springtime", I'm sorry, you could have shown home movies on her rear!!

No!!!! llbean they are talking abotu in season 2 when all the girls come back... she had lost A LOT of weight and she looked rather too skinny instead of her plumpish usual look and then by the time season 3 rolled aroudn she was at a happy medium... which i agree, its weird seeing mrs. g in the 1st season when seh was bigger... but she was more happpy and loving herself more and not so embarrassed by her weight in those eps... but then i liked it when she was skinny it fit her personallity best, but i liked mrs. g in the late season 2, season 3 best!! she looked really good in season 5 too!! and i liked when she wore her hair down in the last season (season 7) and it was just somethign different...

Natalie looked the best with red hair.
She looked horrible with the two pony tail things. It's like they didn't want her to look better.

I think Blair looked best during 82-83 season, 84-85 season (her hair was GORGEGUS!!! ) and the 86-87 season (especially in last night's first episode!) I like Mindy Cohn in red hair, it suits her (81-82 hair was good too, as was 85-86). Jo's hair was always good. I'm 11 but already this show's my favorite show. A lot of kids at school (we're 6th graders) either know or like the like the show. Long live FOL!!!

Mrs. Garrett: season 5 - 6. Her hair color looked really good one her. Season 7 when she worn it only part way up like in We got letters

Blair: seasons 1-3 (I would have loved to hair like hers just in my own color brown) I also like her hair during the nineth season because that perm finally grew out.

Jo: I didn't care to much for her ponytail, so during those season when her hair was down that's when it looked best. During the 6th season I thought her hair cut and style were great.

Natalie: her hair was cute during the 1st season. I didnt' care for those 2 ponytails. By the 5th her hair was cut and the style was great on her. During the 8th season the red dye looked great on her. However on one eposide she had died it back, and it looked way to dark to me. Then after that it went back to a light brown which also looks really good.

Tootie: her hair cut and style looked great in seasons 5, 6, 7, 9.
