Was Rue's Southren Accent real or did she make it up for the part for Blanche because she's from the South?

She kind of has one naturally, but she emphasized it for the role of Blanche.

She obviously made it up! If you've seen and heard the pilot, you'd realize she has no accent in it.

Yeah, she either made it up or she didn't make it up. I can't tell the difference because I am hard of hearing. I just can't tell the difference whether or not she made it up, sure I can hear the voice, but I can't tell the difference between her regular voice or her accented voice.
