Post My thoughts on: The end of the series, the last season, and just what to expect....

Ok, I'm kind of having mixed feelings right now....I know that on the 26th, the series is starting over again. I know you are all gonna hate me for this, but the last season is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE season!!! It just seems like the show couldv'e gone on longer....I mean, everyone was an adult...I wouldv'e enjoyed seeing what happened next, as the girls became more mature and more adultlike. It seems as if their characters were finally starting to grow on me as adults, and then the show just ended. I really really do not want the show to start up again on episode one...It just doesnt feel right. I think partly the reason I feel this way is because I was born during the second run of the series, so I felt I had a connection with those last eps. I remember watching season 9 when I was very young. That is why I enjoy these episodes so much I guess. I mean, I liked the Eastland Years, Edna's Edibles, and Over Our Heads, but I just felt more "at home" with that last season. Well those are my thoughts, respond if you want, but you don't have to...I was just spilling my mind on paper, I mean the message board

Jo: Blair, if you like that song so much, then why are you doing that to it?
Blair: Doing what?
Jo: Singing it like Julie Andrews.

Yea, you're right! I think that the last season was the best, but I also haven't seen seasons one through five yet. But season nine was (is) great!

There are a few episodes in season 9 that have been ok, and it's nice to see them all grown up, but some of it is just ridiculous. The one where Natalie goes into ROTC seems more like and episode of Saved by the Bell. I like that show too, but That's just not what FOL was. And they're just running out of reasons to be together. I mean the other night Tootie and Natalie are hanging out and playing chess? What was that about? And everyone is always like sitting around and reading to themselves. There was just nothing left anymore. I did like when they used to hang out in Over Our Heads though. Did they mention they closed it or is it just gone? It is going to be hard though to go back to when they were so young. Blair is going to be just a complete bitch again. Let's face it, she was. Zhe definitely changed as time went on. But Mrs. Garrett will be back and relevant again. And Jo will be back to her old self, no longer just sitting in the background making wise-ass remarks all the time. She does that a lot now.

Blair being a bitch, Tootie having braces, Mrs G's wasp's nest hairdo, and Jo's pony-tail. All these things I miss from the earlier seasons. And I cant wait till' I see them again.
It will be weird going back to see how they were and then knowing how they turn out. Especially how much they change. It'll be a whole lot of fun to go through this thing again.

yeah, back when Blair and Jo fought and you couldn't tell that deep down they really were friends. Because they really weren't, they really did hate each other for a while. That was fun.
