Not openly gay but in the closet gay or someone who hasn't realized they are gay yet.

Here's the evidence.....

Miranda doesn't appear to have much in common with Lizzie. Lizzie seems to have more in common with Kate and Clair than Miranda. Could their friendship be based on a crush Miranda has on Lizzie?

How can two girls who are friends like the same guy (Ethan Craft) and without cat fighting? Miranda has claimed to like Ethan, but she is nowhere near as obsessed with him as Lizzie. Could Miranda's supposed crush on Ethan be fake?

In the episode "Gordo and the Girl", Lizzie was telling Miranda about how she was afraid Miranda would get a boyfriend leaving Lizzie all alone. Miranda's response was "That's not gonna happen". hmmm Makes you wonder.

Miranda was dancing awfully close to Lizzie in "Inner beauty", and was very insistent that they continue practicing their dance even though Miranda was tired enough to faint.

In the episode "Between a rock and a bra place" Miranda was very observant about who was and wasn't wearing a bra in the locker room. She was also very insistent on shopping for bras alone with Lizzie. Hmmmm makes you wonder.

When Lizzie said "We just had to take a shower with 200 girls who love to judge" Miranda says "And that was just plain fun".

I bet it was.

and just look at the clothes she wears

Yes, I'm sure that the writers at Disney would make Miranda a closet homosexual who has this undying love and need for Lizzie. Grow up! It's a kid's show.

I also didn't notice her dancing close to Lizzie, but I wasn't really watching for signs of Miranda being gay so maybe I just missed it

i think HDfanLizi is right i think u are reading too much in the character. she doesn't dress butchy that's her style. they wanted to make a character that's the complete opposite of lizzie, some one is funny, not afraid to face a fight and always there for her friends. i think u have been reading too much fanfiction about lizzie and miranda being lesbians. i don't know why but they always put miranda as a lesbian, only b/c she dresses a little more punkish. i think u need to stop reading those.
