MESA, Arizona (June 11) - Bidders on eBay have another month to buy the condominium where ``Hogan's Heroes'' TV star Bob Crane threw wild parties before he was murdered.

The actor lived in the Scottsdale condo before he was bludgeoned to death with a tripod in a hotel room on June 29, 1978.

Real estate agent Ardy Haines said the current owners, Ron and Pat Herbst, hope to cash in on the publicity surrounding the 25th anniversary of Crane's death.

``'Hogan's Heroes' is really popular in Japan, Australia and, surprisingly, Germany. And we thought we were so close to that (the anniversary) that we would just extend it,'' Haines told the East Valley Tribune.

The TV comedy was set in a Nazi-run prisoner-of-war camp during World War II.

The property, originally placed on eBay on May 15, will be open for bids through July 5.

So far, the condo has received only one bid at the asking price of $180,000, about $70,000 more than the market value for similar units in the Winfield Place development.

The Herbsts bought the condo in 1986 for their daughter while she attended Arizona State University. They didn't know about the condo's history until a yellowed newspaper article about the killing was left on their doorstep.

Crane's secret sex life and his death at 49 were the subject of the 2002 film ``Auto Focus,'' starring Greg Kinnear.
