Your friends are out of touch! I always think of this show as an Icon. Maybe it's because I grew up on it. It puts a different perspective in my mind because of it. One of my friends hadn't seen the show until it went on N@N, so you may have something there--not many friends seem to know about it!

You really can't stay up a little later? I don't know your scehdule. Maybe you can at least see it on the weekends. Or, you could fix your VCR!

Oh, and welcome to the boards!

Welcome to the boards!!!

My friends know about it, but only because another friend and me were completely obsessed with the show at one point. We didn't find out about it till it came on Nick @ Nite, either. But it's a good thing it did (even though I'm not too happy with the way Nick @ Nite's been setting the shows time slots up lately) because I would have never been able to discover one of the best shows in the history of tv. Yay. Sry you can't stay up that late ...I do anyway, lol, I can live with going to bed late, I guess I'm lucky.

Welcome to our happy home!

IMO TC is the best show in the world..Plus the beautiful Joyce DeWitt plays on it.

I have no idea why TC isn't that populer, it is one of the greatest shows of the 70s...I hope in the future it comes out on DVD.

Three's Company might have been on later if The Cosby Show didn't come on 20 times! I mean The Cosby Show is shown on TBS and I think UPN. The show is shown on TBS almost as much times as N@N! I think they should treat it equally like any another N@N show and give it a one hour timeslot and keep Three's Company 2 hour timeslots!

TBS dosen't air The Cosby Show as much as Nick at Nite does, I not sure but I believe TBS only airs it once a day at 1:30PM/Eastern, compared to Nick at Nite which airs the show 4 times each night. Three's Company and The Cosby Show both get 4 airings a night. I think it just seems that The Cosby Show has more airings is because Nick at Nite has a lot marathons devoted to the show.

I think it also seems like they air the Cosby more because the 4 showings of it appear within just three hours of eachother--it used to be even within 2 hours. Three's Company is 4 hours, which is a little better. And then a lot of people aren't even up for the last hour.

I know what you mean though about the marathons. That also attributes to it. When Cheers was on 4 times a night it didn't even seem like it was on as much as Cosby, because of the dad-blamed marathons. This Cosby stuff is really out of hand!

Yeah, but to watch Three's Company, you have to stay up until 12, and maybe that's too late for her. It's too bad she doesn't have a working vcr.
