If you win the bid on ebay, do you have to buy that item?

Yes, you are obligated to go through with the transaction if you are the high bidder at the end of the auction. Unless, it is one of those reserved auctions in which if the reserve price has not been meant. Then its up to the seller to let you buy the item or not.

What if you don't respond to the confirmation emails? Will you still end up with the product?

they'll probably just give you bad feedback and put the auction back up for bid.

I bought a cd. It's $7 with S/H. Do you think I should go ahead a get it? Even if it is crappy, it's just $7.

That's pretty good for a cd. Did they describe the condition in the auction? I've bought many cds on ebay and only one had one tiny scratch that didn't even effect playback. Bad feedback isn't good to have especially if this is your first auction and you have no feedback at all. I'd just go through with it. It's only $7 and most likely the cd will be in great shape, but like I said, their supposed to describe the condition of the disc in the auction.

I agree with Holly especially with what she said about bad feedback. I'd go ahead and pay for the cd. 7 bucks isn't bad.

I think I am gonna go ahead and buy it. I agree with you, $7 isnt bad, and the description did say I could return it if the cd didnt play.

I think it is important to build up positive feedback so sellers will take a chance on your in the future. I have 9 positive feedbacks in a row so i want to continue to build on that.

I def. agree. Um, I'm not sure how many feedbacks I have. Let me check. I have 126 total feedbacks at the moment. Only 104 count from the unique users. All of my feedbacks are positive. I'd like to keep it that way,too. I'd just be so disappointed if I got a neutral or a negative. I buy all my stuff. Never sold anything, don't have any desire to sell anything on ebay.

Good for you! The last cd I bought on ebay was Garbage - v2.0. It plays like a dream, and it only cost me about $6 including shipping and handling. I love that cd!

J/w, but is the cd factory sealed? I've gotten quite a few cds on ebay pretty cheap and they were factory sealed. I bought two Billy Idol cds off of ebay, the Greatest Hits cd was 12 bucks. K, kind of a normal price, but I had to do some bidding on it. The original price for that cd was around 4 bucks. Got the Rebel Yell remastered cd for 7 bucks.

Anyway, hope the cd plays perfectly for you.
