I like Jo because she is so cool. She is not afraid of anything. Also I love the wa she makes fun of Blair. I mean somebody has to. Also I like her sense of humor. My favorite scene with Jo in it would have to be when she is leaving for her job in California when she is about to leave but then comes back and hugs everyone. I love that episode

I like Jo because of her attitude and her sense of humor. She's always the one that makes you laugh and she's so pretty!

Jo

--------

Blair- "We were responsible for the wine."
Jo- "and the beer."
Mrs. G- "How did you get beer?:
Jo- "I got beer."

"What's that disgusting smell? Why Blair, it's you!"

Tootie- "Can we sing?"
Jo- "Sing?"
Tootie- "That's what I do when I'm scared, what do you do?"
Jo- "Slap people."

"I thought you liked me in that way that you like somebody when you like them in that way."

Mrs. G: "Part of me wishes you would have hit him with something."
Jo: "Oh, I did, that's what happened to the other shoe."

I liked her independence as well as the fact that her tough exterior initaly was there to hide a soft side that became more and more obvious as the show went on.

I agree with Rich, on how her sensitive side came out more and more as the show went on. Even though she was at her best in the Eastland seasons, she remained the best character through the years after.
But I must give credit where credit is due, without Blair Warner, Jo just wouldnt work right. It would be sort of like Laverne without Shirley, or Fonzie without Richie. You see how it's just not the same?

Stanley Roper: I'm sorry Jack

Jack Tripper: Oh, thats ok, what did you do?

Roper: Me? Nothing, I just thought I saw something that wasnt normal, because it was normal, but, now I can see it aint normal, so, everything's back to normal again.

Jack: oh, well, I'm glad for you.

Hi everybody!

Im new to this message board. I usually post in the other 'FOL site' (thats the name btw). Jo is my favorite character because I think shes the funniest with her sarcastic humor and wit. Also because I relate to Jo the most (Im from the Bronx and my family lives in Peekskill, NY-where the show takes place). Jo basically carries the show IMO. My second favorite is Blair.
