Default The one good thing about TC being on N@N is ......

they show the tag scenes. This was my first time seeing the tag scenes since my local station never aired them back in the ate 80's. And since that was before cable, i never knew these tag scenes existec so I'm very thankful that N@N shows the tag scenes.

actually, the one good thing about TC airing on N@N is that we get to watch a show that airs on no other station (cept for locals).

I wish it was still on TNN because it came on at a early time but it wasn't too early. Their only problem was that they didn't show all the tag scenes like N@N does. N@N really shouldn't have the Cosby Show on all the time. I know this has been talked about to death, but The Cosby Show is way too overhyped on N@N! It's shown on TBS and other stations all the time! Why play it a million times a day on N@N when its on 2 other stations?!

As much as I complain about Nick-at-Nite, I'm grateful that they picked up Three's Company. Without N@N, I might never have come across TC, which is my favorite sitcom.

What a coincidence. I discovered TC on TNN. I'm not ripping on N@N I'm just saying that they show too much of Bill Cosby.

Well since Bill is part owner of N@N, the cosby show being on 20millon times a night makes more sense to me.

I didn't know that! I read it from some other people on another message board and I thought they were joking. Now it all makes sense! I think someone like Richard Kline or Don Knotts should buy it from Bill Cosby.

That is not true. He is with Nickelodeon because he produces Little Bill, and the upcoming Fatherhood for Nick@Nite. He doesn't have any ownership.

To answer someone's question:
TNN and Nick@Nite basically air the same cuts, TNN cut beginnings of scenes a little (only a few times), other than that it was the same as Nick@Nite, since they are related.
Three's Company hasn't aired on locals since around Sept 2001 or so, it returns to locals this fall for a one year deal, more info on that will come in the coming months. Another good thing is Nick@Nite/TNN/TV Land airs the original opening themes which were never seen in syndication in the U.S.

Well Pav i will get back with you in regards to Bill being part owner of N@N, but you are right about the original opening themes because I never saw the opening credits for season 4 when Jack trips over Lana's foot when they were on the pier. Also season 6 opening credits when Larry tires to put his head on Janet's but it's the elephant instead. And when the little boy is looking at Mr. Furley because he was acting like a lion. My local station didn't air those in the late 80's. But I hope it;'s a local station in philly that gets Three's Company
