Default Attn: Females, Will you date a guy who doesn't have a car or his own place?

Just want to know what's more important to some of the females out there. A guy without a car or his own place? These were two things that females asked me when I graduated college. Do you drive or do u live alone?

Did you not ask the same questions like a week ago? Anyways, I guess a home, because I have a car, and really could care less if a guy does or not. I mean, I guess I could drive him around. A house is more important to me.

I never asked a question about this. A house or an apt?

either. It doesn't matter, as long as they keep it clean.

I don't care so much about his living arrangements. I live with my folks, so if he does too, fine.

The car thing though...NO ONE DRIVES MY CAR BUT ME! So he better not think I'll loan it to him, 'cause I'd make the jerk walk first.

I couldn't care less about a guy living with his parents. I'm only 19, and I'm never out with guys TOO much older than me, so I actually expect them to be living with their parents. As I get older, I will probably expect them to live away. But this is many years down the road.

As far as a car... well, I expect the guy I go out with to have one. So far I've never been in a situation where a guy I liked didn't drive. It's not that I define a guy by having his own car, I just never knew a guy not to have one.

And actually, I expect the car to be pretty decent. It doesn't have to be FABULOUS, but no junkers please.

Hope u don't think a car makes a guy a good catch. But i guess it depends on where u live. I live in the city area where there are cabs every 5 min so i don't need one. BUt if a female lives in the burbs or country then i can see a car being important

That is so true. When you live in a big city, owning a car is really not a high priority. I live in a town with only about 13,000 people and very few taxis, so I expect the guys here to own one. But it doesn't make someone a good catch. And someone not owning a car wouldn't be a bad catch. When I move to a large city someday, I won't even expect it.

She said more, not most. And that wasn't part of the question anyway!
