Default Another funny segment Lifetime cuts out in "Break In"

After Rose is "attacked" in the parking garage, the scene shifts back to the house, and in Lifetime's airings, Blanche walks in telling Dorothy they found her stole. Well, in the uncut NBC version, before Blanche walks onto the lanai, Sophia and Dorothy are playing scrabble and arguing over whether Sophia made up a word or not. I'm pretty certain Lifetime cuts this part out:

SOPHIA (counting up her score) (NOTE: Sorry, too many numbers to keep up with, LOL.) ... makes a total of 69 points, I win.
(Dorothy is very impatient through the counting)
DOROTHY: Wait, wait, wait a minute. There is no such word as that.
SOPHIA: There certainly is.
DOROTHY: Fine, I'll look it up. And if it's not in the dictionary, I win.
SOPHIA: We don't have a dictionary.
DOROTHY: Yes we do.
SOPHIA: No we don't, the robbers took it.
DOROTHY: They stole our dictionary?
SOPHIA: That's right. Too bad.
DOROTHY: Ma, disdam (not sure how it's spelled) is not a word. You made it up.
SOPHIA: It's a word!
DOROTHY: Fine. Use it in a sentence.
SOPHIA: (thinks for a minute) You're no good at disdam game.

Watching it again makes me think Lifetime DIDN'T cut it out. It's been so long since I've watched the Lifetime version of it I can't really remember, so can anyone shed some light on it? If they do leave it in, it's still funny.

I'll try and get a few screen shots of it.

I'm pretty sure Lifetime cut out that scene, because I know I've never seen it but I've seen the episode you're referring to numerous times.

And isn't that scene with her hand in her mouth in a version of the opening credits?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. As Sophia was walking away, Dorothy sat there and slowly turned and stuck her hand in her mouth.

It was such a funny scene.

Question I think

I think I've seen it, I'm not sure if I have or not. I don't remember. I'll have to watch that episode again.

Yeah, I don't think Lifetime shows this either. Lol, I'd like to see that scene.

I'm not sure if Lifetime cuts it out because I think I remember seeing the part were Dorothy is biting her finger like that...does she do that in another episode?

I taped this episode off of Lifetime a long time ago (when they showed the end credits) and they cut this scene out. Lifetime shows Dorothy biting her fist from this episode in the opening credits (the longer versions) I have only seen one original NBC version of The Golden Girls - it was the finale. Even when Lifetime shows the hour long version of this, they left out like 10 seconds of lines all together.
