Default Off-Topic: Trading Spaces

Sorry for the OT post, but I just gotta brag.

In case any of y'all watch Trading Spaces on TLC... My close friends Brent & Carla will be in the episode coming up tomorrow night (June 7.)

So if you watch it you can say, "Hey, I know somebody that knows those people!" Errr, well... you kinda know me.

Love,

Wing<><

I knew someone who was on Wheel Of Fortune last week. hehe. Well, I don't actually KNOW him.. i met him once-- he's the boyfriend of my brother's friend's sister. hahahaha
yeah.

That's okay, Blackbeard.

Actually, I don't know whether they liked it or not... he said I had to wait and see. Maybe he's not supposed to tell... since that's part of the suspense of the show.

The only thing he really told me was that the designer used some of his dad's paintings in his house and that he really did like that.

It premieres Saturday night at 9, and then re-runs a couple of times next week.

Love,

Wing<><

So Hildi was their designer? Or I'm guessing wrong... but if it was Hildi, poor them...

Hee hee... yeah, their designer was Hildi. It's funny because Hildi & Doug are the only 2 designers I really don't like.

I watched it Sat nite & was totally dumbfounded. Hildi did hardly anything to their room! She spent her whole budget on the flooring. She didn't even paint the walls... she just but plaster on them and built some shelves.

I was pretty disappointed. On the other hand, I really liked the bedroom that Edward did with my friends. Although Brent looked really shell-shocked and he hardly spoke. He looked like he was having trouble with the staple gun and the saw! ha ha.

do you know if they found out that their piano got it's legs knocked off and then fixed again? or did they not find out until they saw it on the show? hehe.
I would have a cow if i saw my piano's legs break off, and the piano go crashing to the ground with that noise. I was cringing when that happened on the show with their piano. lol

and yeah, the other peoples' room was barely changed!! just basically, the floor! i thought that sucked. hehe.

i don't watch the show often enough to know the designers' names, but i didn't like the ones on that episode.
I like the Asian guy. he's cool. and hmm.. i dunno. oh, i like that guy Ty who does all the carpentry! he's funny. and he does a good job. ...and he's cute. lol.
and that girl with the red hair is really annoying, but I like the rooms she's designed.

Arrow A show like this!

I would think someone from here could redo a room to match the inside of the set of Nantucket Airport in the show. Make the Sandpiper desk a bar and other stuff. Was just a thought. Only saw the preview of the baby grand getting a broken leg.
