Not too famous here. I know of them, but that's because I get my news from the cbbc newsround or just bbci. David Beckham plays for Man Utd, one of the best soccer/football teams in the UK

I know who they are... Victoria recently had her second son, and named him Romeo. Her first child was Brooklyn. I followed her for awhile, but now you don't hear anything much about any of the Spice Girls around here and Victoria seems as if she got bigger than earth over in the UK. I still follow Melanie Chisholm from time to time though. I saw Victoria in concert when she was pregnant with Brooklyn.

I followed all the Spice Girls about a year ago when I got re-obsessed, but yeah... Victoria's cool. And David's an awesome soccer player.

Posh Spice.

There is an article in this week's People Magazine about her/them.

Yeah they are. The article in People said something like they've had some 20,000 images of them printed in articles and newspapers and such.

Why the fame, is it more him than her as I'd guess?

Talking Hate them!

I hate the Beckhams- In the papers though some reporters finding out how well known they are in america asked some people- they asked some guard at a famous store or something- he said " This is (can't remember name)- everyone here thinks they're famous even if they're not". I found it very pompous, though I do hate the beckhams, though if they become famous if his name's released as posting that he'll regret it- and be mentioned in a few books documenting their fame.

20/20, the well known ABC expose, did an interview with the Beckhams about a month ago. I was really suprised to see them on there. Even though most know who they are in the U.S., they are hardly famous to us. On 20/20, their fame was compared to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. They look like a fine couple. They really have no chance to be big here like they are in Great Britain--we don't care a great deal about soccer, and we don't ever hear any of the "disassembled" Spice Girl's music anymore.

Getting off topic for a bit, but unfortunately we don't really get British music much anymore. The Spice Girls were really the last artists I can think of that just exploded here and shared the same success in the U.S. as Europe. What is that "boy band" in England? With the 3 guys? BBMac? They've done well here, and Craig David does, but I can't help but feel they'd be even bigger in America if they were from America. It seems like we've turned out back on international music.
