According to my knowledge, with the exception of "Fresh Prince," all the shows that Nick at Nite acquired ("Who's The Boss?," "Full House," and "Roseanne"), all originally aired on ABC. Which is why I've been thinking that I think in a few years, I want Nick at Nite to become ABC@NITE, featuring a whole evening of ABC shows all on one cable network.

That doesn't bother me; a vast majority of the shows I watched originally aired on ABC. If it indeed is becoming ABC@nite, perhaps N@N can revert to 1998 form with their nightly lineup of The Brady Bunch, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, and The Wonder Years!

I think it's more like Cosby@Nite. They have aired that show countless times, I think they should name Nick@Nite after The Cosby Show, why not have a "Modern TV Classic" named after them, if they appreciate the show so much why not dedicate the show as a symbol of their programming.
Anyways, Cheers, The Cosby Show and Family Ties were all from NBC, but that's in a whole different catorgory, all they did was bring those shows back so they could re-create the NBC Thursday Night Line-Up. I like that Nick@Nite is bringing back some of their shows that have ran on TGIF (Perfect Strangers and Full House), I think more people will watch these shows, by the fact they like ABC's TGIF line-up, and have watched them in the past. |
