Uh, what is All in the Family and Three's Company then? Child's play? Notice the time, it's an overnight stunt.

NO Adult comedies from the 70's belong on N@N. Not TC, Not AITF, and defintely not Sanford and Son

Sanford & Son is not joining the line-up, it's just a marathon, something you don't understand (like your Bewitched post). And Sanford & Son did air on Nick@Nite for a short time a few years back, even Maude did.

All those shows you mentioned will be a good fit for TBS. TV LAND and N@N CUTS OUT too many scenes.

Apparently you didn't watch Three's Company on TBS. I prefer Nick@Nite's cuts over TBS's, though when you put both together you get basically an uncut episode. The only 2 cuts I'm not happy of with Nick@Nite is from Up in the Air where Jack does his dance and the ballon shaving scene from early season 2. Nick@Nite shows the original themes and tags, TBS didn't. TBS doesn't air any 70's sitcoms anymore, so it's not a good fit.

Thumbs up

Even though I love Sanford and Son,I think it's a boisterous
comedy and I agree it belongs on TVL and not on N@N

That is a great thing that Nick at Nite is doing even though it is airing late at night, there are some episodes, especially "My Fair Esther" and "Sanford and Gong" that I definitely want to tape since they didn't put these particular episodes on Columbia House's Sanford and Son video collection and that I haven't seen since they appeared in reruns on TBS back in the early and mid 90's.

sanford and son is a show that we used to sit around and watch when it came on back in the 70's. Maybe you think reality is boisterous.....here is what webster says "boisterous" means

Rough and stormy; violent.
Loud, noisy, and lacking in restraint or discipline.

I think your talking about Lenny Bruce and Son...
or Andrew Dice Clay and Son.
