Default Create Your Own Cable Channels!!!

Guys,

I am sure that someone at some point did this thread before. But, it is worth redoing. If you could do your own cable channels, what new services would you like to see?

THE FIGHT CHANNEL: Showcasing boxing, martial arts, UFC, special commentary shows dedicated to all aspects of boxing and martail arts.

THE MYSTERY CHANNEL: Showcasing the greatest Mystery Series and specials of the past and original programs from the present!
See great shows like:

Columbo, Alfred Hitchcook Presents, Perry Mason, Unsolved Mysteries and great mystery movies!

CLASSIC SITCOM TV: Showcasing the greatest sitcomes from the 50's-80's but...This is no TV LAND! all shows would be shown uncut Now you could see Leave it to Beaver, Gilligan's Island, The Brady Bunch, The Odd Couple, Green Acres, The Munsters in their original uncut restored formats! The motto could be:

"WE LOVE CLASSIC TV, AND UNLIKE TV LAND, WE WILL NOT TAMPER WITH A CLASSIC!"

I would love a western channel and a I like your classic TV channel ( all uncut shows) that would be great. I would love to get rid of C-Span, BET, MTV, and all 4 of our Hispanic stations (just on my cable mind you, I know some of you like these channels ).

I'd definately create the "Obscure Movie Channel" little-known movies, 24/7! Some movies are totally forgotten and it just ain't fair! I'd show a ton of movies that have never been released on video/DVD and believe me, people WOULD watch!

One of my friends said she wanted to create the "Commercial Channel" she loves commercials (go figure) but the main idea behind this was that we could get commercials off on the other channels, and if someone wanted to buy something, they'd go onto her channel. Somethin tells me it'll never happen...

Lightbulb Hmmm.

I was dissapointed, I thought with the posts title it was directions on how to get involved in tv.

Anyway I'd have a channel called "Overlooked Comedy"

It'd be a channel broadcasting the either not well known sitcom or unpopular sitcoms: The Golden Palace, The Ellen Show, The New Dick Van Dyke Show, The Van Dyke Show, That tv pilot with Tim Curry I think it was 'Up on the roof' or something (only five eps of it made) New Leave it to Beaver and all those shows that were unpopular spinoffs or hard to find sitcoms basically. It'd also show the rare tv specials like Dick Van Dyke and The Other Woman, and those Lucille Ball specials.

Another channel: "Involved"
It's a channel for the regular struggling people who want to work on tv to help make new shows- mostly low budget cos you can't hand out a tv show to just everyone. It allows anyone for a true passion of media the chance to get involved- not just someone doing it for a laugh and walking in to it just to ge tout of the rain. And any local bands, unknown bands etc get recognised by submitting tapes etc, and people submit show ideas.

Pick your sitcomes- It would be a channel where there would be 3 different sitcomes for each hour and you would be able to go online or call to vote for the one you wanted to see.

80's TV- it would have 80's sitcomes, dramas and movies

Classic Nickelodeon- it would have old nick shows like Angery Beavers, Pinwheel, Solute Your shorts, You can't do that on television, Hey Dude and ect
