Default It may be difficult to find clear copies of these sitcoms because......

They were short-lived
Not in syndiction
During the time when they were on the air, not a lot of people had cable, only antennas.

Here are the Sitcoms

Ropers-1979-80
That's My Mama-1974-75
Checking In-1981
Joanie Loves Chachi-1982-83
Out Of the Blue-1979
Flo-1980-81

That's My Mama has been airing a lot in syndication on stations like WUPA in Atlanta, they aired it not so long ago.

I don't think those were ever. The Ropers were in syndication on locals as well. Flo was seen a few times on TV Land.

Yeah the Ropers was in syndication but cable was in not that many houses when the Ropers reruns were aired in the early 80's. I know TV LAND never aired the Ropers.

I watched it back then.

I also taped every episode of "Bob" when TV Land aired that show. But my sister threw a ball in the house (Against Mrs. Brady's words) and knocked the tape off the shelf and it broke on the floor.

No, The Ropers were on locals, I even remember a few locals airing it in the mid-late 90's. Most of them stopped airing it in the early 90's however. Usually locals aired Three's Company back to back on weekdays and on weekends they aired The Ropers and Three's a Crowd back to back in the Three's Company slots or Three's Company would air during the season (Sept - May) and the spin-offs in the summer on most locals.

I can remember watching all of those sitcoms except for one and that is "Out Of The Blues." Could you tell me who some of the cast members were?

Was there a show 'That's My Mama'? The title just doesn't sound familiar. Or, are you thinking of 'Momma's Place' with Vicki Lawrence and Ken Berry? I love 'Momma's Place'. Don't remember what years it ran on tv though. We get the reruns pretty regularly here in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Yes there was a show by the name of That's My Mama which premeired on ABC in 1974 and it lasted only until December of 1975. Two of the cast members are known. Clifton Davis from AMEN star in That's My Mama and Theodore Wilson who played in That's my Mama also played Sweet Daddy on Good Times.

Another well-known "That's My Mama!" co-star is "The Love Boat" star Ted Lange.

brooky: "Momma's Place" isn't what you're thinking of; you're thinking of the hilarious show "Mama's Family." It ran on NBC from 1983 to 1985, and then in first-run syndication from 1986 to 1990. It is still reran in syndication, and is currently being reran on TBS.
