Default Next up.....Hey 19

The next episode (Hey 19) is one of my favorites. Tim Daly and Steven Weber are great in this episode. They both have lines that just kill me...... Nobody can say ....heh, heh, heh.....like Steven Weber. And Helen's reaction to the entire situation is classic. Plus the other plot with Antonio and Roy makes me laugh as well.

It's one of my favorites, too. Back when I used to watch 'All My Children', the girl who plays Courteney, Liz Vassey was on AMC for a while, so that's where I know her from. I love the fact that Brian is just loving Joe's fling with Courteney, but Helen's hating it! My favorite line is from Lowell(of course)-"Joe Hackett at a Pearl Jam concert? Maybe Pearl Bailey!" F-U-N-N-Y!!!
But I think it's only funny if one is familiar with the diversity of Pearl Jam's music and Pearl Bailey's music, which I am.

Yeah, that Lowell line is great.....I also love it later on when Joe brings up the Smashing Pumpkins. Still my favorite Lowell moment in this episode is his poetry reading.

I've seen Liz Vassey in a couple of things....most recently I remember her in a show that only lasted for a short time called "The Tick" where she played a Wonderwoman kind of character. I can't remember the actual name of the character, I just remember the series was based on the animated series called The Tick.

Yeah, I remember when Liz Vassey was on "All My Children," she played Emily Ann (I think that was her name). I'm looking forward to seeing this episode; I've never seen it before.

That was a great episode- it was really funny.

I loved Brian's "heh heh heh"

and Helen's grossing out about the situation through the whole episode. hehehe. I tend to agree with her tho. lol come on Joe, a 19-year-old?! I mean yeah, I always say that if Joe were a real person, I'd want to date him... but only if I was closer to his age. I'm 21 and I don't think I'd ever date a guy who was like 13 or 14 years older than me. I love ya Joe, but no. lol

Lowell's poetry reading was great!! hahahaha!!!

just thinking about Joe at a Pearl Jam concert, or listening to the Smashing Pumpkins is just really funny. haha!!

oh, and I loved that part, when Courtney recognized Helen from when Helen used to be her babysitter, and Courtney said that she's 19 now, and Helen said "oh I was 19 when I was babysitting you!" and Joe goes, so that would make you-" and before he said her age, Helen shoved his face out of the way. that just struck me so funny- the way she put her hand on his face and shoved him out of the way. hehehe

I think it was Captain Liberty. I used to watch that show and it's coming to DVD soon. The show lasted 8 episodes out of the 9 filmed.

I know! I totally agreed with Helen, I thought Joe was acting kind of pathetic...and I kept thinking of how my younger sister is only 19! A funny episode though, especially Lowell's poetry reading!
