What tapes have you found are the best?

Maxell? Sony? Panasonic? Fuji?

RCA was okay for a while. TDK is a good brand so is Sony. Maxell sucks imo.

I buy anything that's on sale

But I have never had any luck with Veratron.

They are all about the same.

I prefer to use Maxell ones. I don't really like Sony. For some reason I've come across 4-5 defective tapes from them within the last few months, which is really annoying. Also, sometimes the picture skips on their tapes more than on other tapes.
