It's Sunday night surfin' the tube and I see where TNT is showing "A Perfect Storm". When I first saw it in 2000, I thought I recognized the actor portraying lonely Mike (Bugsy is his nickname in the flick) but couldn't place him. Then it dawned on me that he was crab boy, the waiter for Helen & Davis Lynch the first night they went out, which was shown a few days ago. Crab Boy to Helen: "I picked a special one out for you!"
If I remember correctly, he's going to show up again on a later episode (I haven't seen Wings in about 5 yrs before N@N's run).
Anyway, I looked up his name and its John Hawkes and he's been in more than 40 movies, including quite a few popular ones like "I Know What You Did Last Summer"!

The episode where 'crab boy' shows up again is hilarious because he shows up at the Helen's lunch counter. He keeps staring at Helen and it's getting on her nerves. I remember this one part where Helen is asked what she finds attractive in a guy. She answers "A Harvard education" hoping her answer will make the guy go away, but instead he answers "Class of '89", or something like that. I'm not sure the exact year. I don't remember him in anything else, although I did see 'I Saw What You Did Last Summer' Maybe because he didn't have that monotone voice, and that's what threw me off!
