Default Cameron Mathison Returns as Ryan Lavery on "All My Children" in July

That's what I read at TVGuide.com. AMC has confirmed that Mathison is coming back to resume the role of Ryan, whome we originated in 1998. For those who don't know, Ryan left PV last year after finding out that Kendall was seducing Aidan for his key to Erica's penthouse.

Go to www.tvguide.com and go to their Soaps section. Last time I checked (yesterday afternoon) his picture was on the main page, linking to the news section.

This makes me happy, I thought Ryan was pretty cool. I've always hated Kendall tho. and i liked her better when she was played by SMG!

Personally, I hated the Kendall/Ryan pairing. I started liking Alicia Minshew's Kendall much, much more after Cameron Mathison left the show. JMO, of course.

Ick! I can't stand SMG's Kendall, cause she was a pure b*tch! Alicia brings more heart and conscience to the role, and she looks like Susan Lucci more than SMG did.

WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait! I love Cameron Mathison!

This is what ABC Soaps In Depth said about Cameron/Ryan:

from Soaps in Depth*
Ryan Is Returning!
Mathison makes tracks back to Pine Valley.
ALL MY CHILDREN, which just last week put out a casting call for the character of Ryan Lavery, apparently decided not to settle for anything less than the original, seeing as a show rep tells Soaps In Depth that Cameron Mathison will be returning to the role he vacated one year ago. (A first air date was not yet available.)
Mathison has kept busy since relocating with his wife to Los Angeles, guest-starring on such series as THE DREW CAREY SHOW, JAG and CSI. Even so, the popular actor very recently shared with In Depth, "My life out out here has been fun and everything but I really dug being on [AMC]. I really liked that lifestyle."
For more on Mathison's return, keep an eye out for our next ABC issue!
