i cant believe Jo sold her motorcycle the other night! for those of you who are first generation facts fans, does she ever buy a new one at all?? and who was the guy that played doug in the ep THE RATINGS GAME? he's cute! do any other episodes mention him after that? he is so perfect for her!!!
JO

------------------
NAT: JO, if you dont get this scholarship, youre gonna be back in the BRONX running around with the little pueblos!
JO: YOUNG DIABLOS!

BLAIR: take them off JO!! I dont want to fail!
Jo: will you read my editorial?
Blair: YES!
JO: You PROMISE?
Blair: YES!!
JO: You SWEAR??
Blair: YESS!!!
Jo: i dont believe you (self satisfied smirk on her face!)

Tootie: isnt that de-huminization?
Blair: not if your a ten!
JO: if your a ten then i'd hate to see a one!
Blair: then avoid mirrors!

I'm not a first generation FOL watcher and don't know if she get's another motorcycle or if Doug comes back so this isn't really an answer to you question. But ITA that he's perfect for Jo. I thought it was hilarious how Blair thought Jo was lying at the end and she really liked the weatherman. But Jo's expression at the end- I mean she obviously liked him and as Jo said "I guess some people are just made for each other."

Tootie: Can we sing?
Jo: Sing?
Tootie: That's what I do when I'm scared what do you do?
Jo: Slap people

Blair: A Warner is like a delicate soufle
Jo: Yeah light and empty

Nat: I'd rather be a happy magic marker than a skinny pencil

I am a first generation FOL fan. In answer to the initial question, I think Jo does get another motorcycle because I remember her riding it in the episode "It's a Wonderful Christmas" from the final season of the show. I liked Doug too, but I do not remember her ever going out with him in any other episodes. Kevin Blair (now Kevin Spartis), who played Doug in this episode, can now be seen playing Dr. Craig Wesley on Days of Our Lives. Just some extra info on him for those of you who are interested.

Oh my gosh I love that soap opera! I watch it and did not even realize that was Craig!!!!! Wow that's funny. Well considering I think he's kinda cute on Days its not that big of a surprise it was just really funny cause usually I pick up on the fact of when people are actors from other things. Well thanks for the info!

Don't feel bad that you did not recognize him. I didn't either at first. I spent the whole episode trying to figure it out, then I made my mother watch it and she said, "Oh, its Craig from Days." I am glad she figured it out because it would have driven me crazy trying to figure out where I had seen him before.

I do that too! Which is why I'm surprised I didn't do it with this one. Like I was watching this really old movie with drew barrymore (and no I'm not talking about et). It was really weird and I don't know the name of it cause I turned it on in the middle but I'm pretty sure it was Drew Barrymore at like the age of nine. Anyway I'm pretty good at "recognizing" when I know someone. Now the connection between recognizing them and realizing where they come from usually takes a conversation and debate between myself and my mother. Between the two of us we're pretty decent about picking out who's who.

Oh! Oh! Was it Babes in Toyland where they have to save toyland from the evil Barnaby who lives in a bowling ball? I turned it on in the middle and was like, "OMG! That's Drew Barrymore!"

Don't shoot me if it's not but I'm fairly sure that that is Drew Barrymore. And yes by the description of the movie that sounds about right. Cause it was like Mother Goose becomes a movie. It had Miss muffet et al. Anyway it bugged me for a while and I'm pretty sure it was her.

what happened to talking about a motorcycle?
hehehe j/k
i think jo did buy a new motorcycle because how could she have given cliff a ride on it if she didnt have one?

i just cant picture jo with a regular car either. she needs her bike!

maybe this whole bike think is another one of those factual errors that the writers made thinking we wouldnt notice!

JO: Now, Natalie, when you hear these voices, are they friendly?

Jo: one minute you are happy and healthy, the next minute youre a pamento loaf on a gurny!

Jo: will you be staying for dinner or will you be returning to your home planet?

Bev: i dont want any hanky panky business going on here tonight!
Dwane: Sweet dreams Blair
Jo: hanky meet panky!

Cool

You know, I was going through video captures of Nancy McKeon on www.nancymckeonfans.com and in one of her movies she's shown on a motorcycle. She seems to be a natural for bikes, or maybe it just depends on the roles she plays. But Jo definately needs a bike!

Yeah I think that Jo is the best with her motorcycle. I think they should have shown more of her on it though.

Cool

If you click on the link I gave above, go to Video guide. There you will find screen captures almost all her movie. Click on "Firefighter screen captures" and there you will find a couple of pics of Nancy on her motorcycle and a few of her with a helmet on.
