Some of my favorite movies of all time are sadly, ones that no one seems to know:

Best Years of Our Lives (1946)
Rebecca (1940)
Love Letters (1945)
My Man Godfrey (1936)
Leave Her to Heaven (1945)
Laura (1944)
The Razor's Edge (1945)

Well, thank God some people can remembr Casablanca!

I enjoy the films of the Marx Brothers, particularly "Animal Crackers," plus the films of Laurel and Hardy. Not too many people are familiar with their work anymore.

And it always breaks my heart when someone gives you that confused look when you menion "Citizen Kane."

I know the Marx Brothers! I went as Harpo for Halloween one year (my sister went as Groucho!)

The Paleface (1948) and Son of Paleface (1952)
The Man in the White Suit (1952)

Really, there are so many. Some good ones, like "The Lady Vanishes" and "It Happened One Night," are thankfully remembered by many people.

Here is an old movie (and a said to be infamous and bad one at that) that nobody remembers:

The Terror of Tiny Town.

Basically it's an all-midget western.

I have Rebecca on VHS. That was a pretty good movie.

i love the Marx brothers movies.

i dont think to many people watch silent movies anymore. i like silent movies especially Harold Lloyd's.

Agreed! Did you ever see W.C. Fields? Unlike most old comedy, his never seems dated or old-fashioned. Some of his better movies were:

ahh...how i love that movie. me being the big temple fan i am, had to tune in when AMC aired in about 3 or 4 years ago. it showed off shirley's acting skills better than 'on the good ship lollipop' did.
