Default I'd like to see Stephen Root and Dave Foley in new sitcoms

I mean Vicki got a chance with tha horrible (imo) "Three Sisters" & Andy Dick scored with "Less than Perfect." It's a shame that Simms's "Dexter Prep" pilot with Stephen Root wasn't picked up by ABC.

Stephen Root was in the short lived "The Ladies Man" after NewsRadio ended. He's also the voice of Bill on King of the Hill. But yeah, I'd also like to see him in something current.

Adding Dave Foley to an "already in progress" sitcom would definatly improve the series. Dave was funny in an episode of "The Tick."

I remember "Ladies' Man." The worst thing about that show was the British guy who played the lead.

Since Dave is kind of old now I think it'd be interesting to see him in a sitcom where he's married and has a family. Here's the premise: Dave live's in New York, is a lawyer, and is married to a neurotic but loveable woman with two kids. One is a girl and is about fifteen. She's one of those happy, popular, superficial girls. The younger is around ten. He's sort of brainy and geeky. Dave's cynical, mean-spirited mother also lives with them. Across the hall lives his neighbor (maybe played by Kevin McDonald) who's his age and a single parent with a son. The son is about the same age as his daughter and represents the exact opposite Dave's daughter does. So in other words the two kids hate each other. The neighbor is very eccentric and child-like, maybe even an aspiring actor. The first episode could be about Dave's fortieth birthday and going through kind of a mid-life crisis. Hopefully the show wouldn't be another Married With Children or Unhappily Ever After and would make the characters three-dimensional and with depth. I dunno. Kinda dumb I guess but it'd be nice seeing him back on the screen.

I remember seeing Dave on an episode or two of Just Shoot Me last year, and he was really big...is he still that heavy? I haven't seen him in anything other than that recently...

Stephen Root plays Bill, Buck Strickland, and various characters on King of the Hill. And played Milton in the movie Office Space. He also guest starred on Grounded For Life several times.

He also appeared on "King of Queens" a year or two ago as a shrink. He was extremely good as the suicidal man on "Becker," the first and last time I ever watched a full episode. Jimmy was also on JSM, as was Jon Lovitz.

Does Dave still have the beard, it sure was a shock to see him with a beard.

If you listen to South Park's Christmas album, the song Christmas Time in Hell, they mention Andy Dick.
