Default Who had the best sibling relationship?

I think that Rudy and Vanessa had the best sibling relationship. Look carefully at Rudy and Vanessa's relationship. Rudy smiled and was happy when Vanessa went to Baltimore. She said "She went all the way to Baltimore." In a happy, admiring, tone. She smiled happily when she found out that Vanessa was engaged. Rudy and Vanessa hugged after having a verbal argument. Not the one where they had a physical fight. Vanessa goes to Rudy when she wants someone to cover up for her when she goes out with Jeremy. Rudy reluctantly complies. Watch that episode. "It's called Truth or Consequences. They had a good relationship.

Yea, they did have a good relationship, it was probably because vanessa was the closest sibling age wise to her, and she was a sister, so what rudy was going through, vanessa probably went through it before her.
But then they could have had an ok relationship, because i'm thinking of the episode when rudy does ask her for a favor, and vanessa doesn't do it, in turn Rudy says, "one day you're gonna ask me for a favor, and i'm gonna do it and then you're gonna be sad because you'll know i'm a real good sister and you're not.". Also there's the episode where they got incarcerated in the basement. That showed some real sister hate, but i guess that happens with siblings though.

I agree. They had the best relationship. I probably feel this way partly because, besides what the above posts have already pointed out, I felt this relationship was the most real. Sondra, Denise didn't really seem close to any of the other siblings. It probably couldn't be portrayed correctly on screen because they were the two oldest. Theo's relationship with Vanessa and Rudy...? Ehhh. They were realistic, but they certainly did not come off as strong as Vanessa and Rudy. Even when they fought, it made it seem genuine, which in turn, made it look the best.

Yea, I'm gonna have to go with that one(denise and theo), they seemed pretty close, i can't really remember one time when they didn't try to help each other out. They were always there for each other. whether it be making a "special t-shirt" for theo or "predicting ther weather forcasts for date's" for denise. they were always there for each other.

Althought we didn't see much of it I kind of think Sandra and Denise had a good relationship they shared a room and were pretty close in age. But they all had good relationships. The two who didn't have that close of a relationship was Theo and Rudy

at first, theo and denise had a pretty close relationship.then after she left, it was vanessa and rudy.they talked to theo but it was sometimes in an argument.then, theo left for college and vanessa and rudy were a little closer even though they argued, but that's what sisters do.after vanessa left and she got engaged to dabnis, she talked to theo more than she talked to rudy or denise or sandra.

Was that "what are you talking about" subject for me? Because I never said Denise and Theo didn't have a good relationship, I just liked Rudy's and Denise's the best. I was stressing how realness was important for me, and I even said Theo's relationship was real.

And then of course, we didn't get to see much of Denise and Sondra. Well, Denise the first season (my favorite), and maybe the next two were good.

Rudy and denise's relationship was good, but i would go with Theo's and Denise. They were always there for each other. T

Theo was denise's little and only brother. He was the baby right after denise, and usually the sibling born right after you (or before, but since we didn't see sandra and denise's relationship too much, i wouldn't count it) is the closest to you.

I think Sondra and Denise had the best sibling relationship. Here's a couple of episodes that I can think of that shows that, in "Move It", Denise convinces Sondra and Elvin to move out of that condemded building into a deluxe apartment in Brooklyn; in "The Last Barbeque", Denise and Sondra join forces in convincing Elvin and Martin that they're chavenists.

I don't think they really showed enough of that relationship to say that, but those are some good examples.

Smile Rudy and Vanessa

Rudy and Vanessa probably had the best relationship because:

Vanessa helped Rudy while Rudy wanted to be "The sun" and ended up being "The Wind" and Vanessa gave her good advice on how to get a standing ovation. It is in an episode called "Denise gets a D".

Vanessa called Theo a maniac for destroying Rudy's toy telephone by throwing it into the street and a car ran over it. Episode is called:"Dancemania"

If you look at some episodes, there are lots of times when Rudy and Vanessa would laugh together and watch television a lot.

Vanessa was the one that Rudy went to for tips on writing and would read to her her stories.

I found that the Cosby Show was one of those shows where the kids mostly all get along.
*Vanessa and Rudy
*Theo and Denise
*Denise and Sondra

Initially, I would have said Rudy and Vanessa had the best sibling relationship on the show. There is a lot of interaction between the two, that's for sure, and in fact, throughout the show, of all the siblings, they interract the most. As a result, we have plenty of instances to point to that would bolster our opinions concerning those two having the best relationship. But, thinking back, I'd definitely have to say that throughout the first half of the series, though we don't see them interract a great deal, Theo and Denise had the best relationship in my opinion. Maybe it's me, but I didn't see a lot of genuine concern between Rudy and Vanessa. In fact, there was a lot of fighting, name calling, etc... between the two. "Miss. Sloppy Pig" ring a bell anyone, lol. Though Denise and Theo didn't interract a lot, they seemed to enjoy eachother's comany more. When Theo got his ear pierced, Denise was the one he showed first, and the one who was ultimately concerned about it being infected. When Denise wanted to buy a car, Theo supported her, though he had his own motives in the background. And don't forget the Gordon Gartrel shirt. Though Theo was pissed about the outcome, at the end, he introduced Denise as the designer of the shirt to his date, in a way forgiving her. He even thanks her for the shirt at the end. There's even an episode on "A Different World" where Denise is depressed while at Hilman and asks Theo to come visit thinking it would cheer her up. In choosing between Vanessa and Rudy, and Theo and Denise, I'd have to go with the latter just because it seems that as siblings, they really enjoyed being around eachother.
