Default no offense but

some of the questions like your fav ice cream and do you have B.O is really a waste of time.No offense but there has to be a certain level of decorum and class here please.I don't mind talking about fav anything. But I have seen some questions and referances to gay issues and questions someone's sexual orientation has nothing to do with their class,or maturity or taste and preferances when it comes to likes and dislikes. As far as reunions go.I miss Family Ties,L.A Law,WKRP in CinCinnati.Get Smart.Dallas, knots landing, mary tyler moore show,Bob newhart show and newhart, mannix.I'm not a social snob I would love to get to know alot of you on the boards but asking silly questions like to you prefer dinner over the word supper is trivial.I like the boards about manners.this country is so caught up in their own worlds they stopped treating others with respect.I say thank you and pardon me and hold out the chair of my wife and hold the door for her.,Not because I have to,but because I believe in common decent human behavior of others.I'm old fashioned I guess.saying thank you isn't bad thing it's not a sign of weakness or being to appreaciate and acknowledge kindness it's rather refreshing.chivalry isn't dead-You women seeking the right guy and not the guys that are caught up in their men rule/macho bull**** theories.men like that make it hard for guys like me who are inlightned that you still be vulnerable to a women and still keep your manly hood in tact.

Why is it that every time you post a "no offense" post, you offend a lot of people?

That is offensive, Harper. In regards to the first half of your post, if you don't like or are offended by the topic of a thread: Don't read it. If you feel that these boards are a waste of your time then don't go on them. Class, maturity, race, gender, or sexual preference: they're all present in today's society and on these boards. If you just want to talk to people just like you - go ahead. People are different. That's why I come to these boards anyway - to meet and talk to people that are different. All of us are different ages, have different politcal beliefs (hey Fleet, how's it goin? ) and yes, even people who want to know what I had for dinner last night. It's called chit chat.

You actually have a good topic with chivalry, and although I was about to answer it, I think I'll save it for later. If you want to bring a topic up for discussion, then do so. And don't begin it with a "no offense but" post.

Really....

If you don't like a thread, don't read it. This board isn't about pleasing just you....it's about generally pleasing everyone. I'd rather read a post about a person's favorite ice cream than one where all someone does is complain.

Isn't this the same basic post that you made a few days ago? Do you really think that you'll get different responses this time around?

No offense but it might be time for a new keyboard. Your spacebar appears to be broken.

When you posted essentially the same thing a few days ago, it went over like a lead balloon. How is it that you learned nothing from that? Most of us like this board the way it is. BTW, what's up with your spelling, punctuation, and grammar?
