All of the Original 24 Episodes of The Golden Palace Original broadcast versions, not-edited. On DVD Video Disc The sequel to The Golden Girls in which Blanche, Rose and Sophia purchase a struggling Miami Beach hotel named "The Golden Palace." This series only ran for one season, and never found its way into syndication or into the hands of Lifetime television. Originally ran on CBS from September 18, 1992 to May 7, 1993 with only 24 episodes. Includes the episode where Bea Arthur returns in her final role as Dorothy, and the return of Rose's boyfriend Miles. Introducing new characters Roland Wilson the hotel manager (Don Cheadle), little Oliver Webb (Billy L. Sullivan), and the hotel cook Chuy Castillos (Cheech Marin) This really is a must-have for any Golden Girls fan. Few people have been able to watch this after its original run. I have personally been purchasing copies of this television series for a long time-- collecting the best copies I could get my hands on. I have used only the highest quality copies of each episode I could find to make this collection. I have spend MONTHS AND MONTHS digitally enhanced both the sound and video of each episode. I seriously doubt you will find a better quality collection, unless you personally recorded it yourself under the best conditions. 24 Episodes on 2 Double Sided DVDs (6 Episodes per side of DVD) This DVD collection was professionally authored using the highest standards. Not made with low quality programs, cheep media, or novice "beginner at home" tools. This collection was developed with the same DVD authoring applications that major production companies use, "Sonic's Scenarist." This is the same authoring application used by Warner Brothers, Disney DVD, MGM, Paramount Home Video, and 20th Century Fox to name a few. All Video is encoded with the highest level of quality using one of the most advanced MPEG-2 encoders available today. All Video is encoded with a multi-pass Variable bit-rate (VBR) algorithm for superior video encoding. All episodes feature Audio in Dolby Digital AC3 Stereo Sound. Noise reduction was used to restore the original sound. Every title comes packaged with high resolution inserts in a sturdy case. Every DVD is burned only on Grade A media, No bulk brand generic media is used. All DVDs are pre-screened before being shipped to assure that you get a non-defective disc. I do not use RW media or the DVD+R format discs. I only use Professional Grade DVD-R Media. DVD-R media is much more dependable then the DVD+R format. Make sure your DVD player will play DVD-R discs. I can NOT be responsible if your DVD player does not play DVD-R discs! As I mentioned above, this is an extremely rare recording, and quality is not perfect. I have giving a very fair judge of quality, and honestly believe you wont find better under normal circumstances. NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND!
