Default Is anyone else sick of The Nanny coming on in between the A.M. episodes?

I might be alone here, but I am so tired of "The Nanny" coming on at 8:30 A.M. CDT !!!! I want those back to back eps back on. I don't care if Fran Dresher hogs up 10 hours a day (well, not that many) but if they could just put back to back GG on like they used to, I'd be more than happy. There is absolutely nothing on in between worth watching in my opinion. It's not like TV or GG is my life (I have a full time job and do get out of the house) but why must this stupid show come on in between? Maybe if we all complain here enough, they'll do something about it. I'm so po'ed about it I could scream....! How about the rest of you morning watchers?

I totally agree... I usually catch the first ten minutes of the 8:00am show, before I hop into the shower. By the time I'm out of there and getting ready, it's 8:30, and I've missed the show. I used to think "No problem, another one coming up," but now it's the Nanny. I have to admit, I've caught a few episodes that are somewhat funny, but overall it just doesn't do it for me. I have to leave by 9:00, so I don't get to catch the show until the late night viewing.

Oh well... at least we've got it still... no one has TFOL.

I don't know why Lifetime airs it like that. I mean they could have easily done it...

6 - 7AM - Designing Women
7 - 8AM - Golden Girls
8 - 9AM - The Nanny
9 - 10PM - Mad About You
10 - 11PM - Caroline in the City

This is all MST by the way.

But you have to consider that each show has its fans. I persoanlly love both shows and think both are entertaining to watch. I don't call one show 'stupid' because of it's time slot. Sooner or later down the road, the schedule will be changed again. It happened before, it'll happen again.

Most people turn it off right away because of her voice. If you want to see the comedy that made the show a success for six years, you have to look beyond the voice. Otherwise, Lifetime wouldn't have picked it up. There are lots of fans, myself included. This isn't the case for everyone, but with a lot of people I've met here on the boards, they don't care simply because of the voice. Hey, different strokes for different folks.

It's not her voice that bothers me....the show is just really silly IMO and reminds me of the last season of 'Roseanne'

Geez, I thought I was the only one. That show annoys me. I only get to see TGG every now and then in the morning when I'm home from work, but it would be nice to see it straight through like it once was without any interruption from The Nanny.

I really do enjoy the Nanny, but I just don't see why the didn't just go like Original Prankster said:

8-9am Designing Women
9-10am Golden Girls
10-11am The Nanny
11-12pm Mad About You
12-1pm Caroline in the City

No slammin' of the nanny!

My favorite show

I love having the shows split like they are, it's just a little bit of variety

The Golden Girls are great and The Nanny rocks

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Smile No Never !

Actually my love for the nanny is what is getting me hooked on the Golden Girls again... I watched some of the shows when they were on .. But found it again on Lifetime due to my absolute love for Fran and Maxwell. I was the opposite I hated waiting for the 30 mins. of Golden Girls before my fav show was on but then I started getting interested in the GG again.

The Nanny ROCKS !

God bless
