Default Who is more ticklish - Ginger or Maryann?

If Ginger and Maryann had a ticklefight, who would win, and why?

In your replies, please make any references to any times when either character was tickled.

**blinks. stares at the computer screen for a few minutes** There's just nothing to say to this. I'm dumbfounded. Let's start some deep philosophical conversation, 'kay? Please!

Well, this is neither philosophical nor deep (or maybe it is) and it's completely off-topic (but maybe that's a good thing), (and maybe I use too many parentheses), but here's my answer to that crappy bumper sticker that reads, "My kid beat up your honor student":

"Someday my perspicacious progeny will preponderate your odious, pugilistic spawn."

Sorry, couldn't resist posting that. And, yes, I used a dictionary and thesaurus when writing that. Don't ask what prompted it. Long story, .

Wow.

That was pretty impressive. I like. (But only because I'd be the beaten-up kid in the original sticker... Hehe!)

Thanks, Cyberacer and Courtney! Yeah, Courtney, my son would be that beaten-up kid, too. And possibly my daughter, as well, but I'm not sure yet--she just finished Kindergarten, LOL.

I told my husband that I really would love to have that as a bumper sticker. I'd love watching people's faces as they pulled up behind me (picture their lips moving as they read the words, then a puzzled look, "HUH?!" ).

JD, Ginger would win the tickle fight. Its obvious Maryan is more ticklish. How I know is Ginger is forever bareing her feet, usually in flat thongs yet no one ever tried tickling her feet (at least no one we saw). Also, remember when Gilligan landed near Ginger's barefeet while she was washing her hair? She took her foot and scratched Gilligan's face. It's obvious she isn't ticklish in her feet. Maryann's feet, however. are nearly always covered (fear of Gilligan maybe or even Skipper). So Ginger just tickles Maryann's feet and would win. Ginger would have to insist both she and the Kansas farmgirl go shoeless for this match.

Hi, Fonz. I *hate* that bumper sticker. I *loathe* that bumper sticker. I want to ask parents just what in the **** they're trying to teach their children.

AARGGGH!

I'm not yelling at you, LOL. Just venting!

Nice, thoughtful answer, ficlopri.

Now, it's true for the reasons you state that Maryann might be more ticklish than Ginger. And, if both were tickled, side by side, Maryann might prove to be the more ticklish one.

But in an actual one-on-one ticklefight, Maryann might have a chance to win. Maybe she'd be the better tickler of the two. She's probably more intelligent and has better survival instincts.

Interestingly, Ginger and Maryann were both invovled in a tickle scene once. Not on the regular show, but on a "Return to Gilligan's Island" movie, with Tom Bosley.

In that episode, Bosely played a high-strung businessman who didn't know how to relax. Maryann was giving him a massage, and started to tickle him, was disappointed that he wasn't ticklish. She said "Oh, come on, EVERYBODY'S ticklish" (thus admitting that, she, too, is ticklish). At that point, Ginger (played by another actress, not Tina Louise), began to giggle (though she was not being tickled). Maryann asked her why she was laughing, and through her giggles, Ginger said "I'm ticklish."
