Hello,
I have a 16mm Mary Tyler Moore Show CBS network film print with commercials for sale. It's the full show on a 1200 foot reel. Film condition is excellent. The episode is from 1974, titled “Lou and that woman”, and features guest star Sheree North. The opening and closing commercials mention the show’s main sponsor, Chevrolet, with the “Baseball and Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet” jingle. The other fun to watch commercials include: Chevrolet advertising their then new model Nova coupe, Vega station wagon, Impala sedan, and Caprice Classic coupe; Kelloggs Special K cereal-sound is messed up on this; Ultra Brite toothpaste; and Chevrolet promoting the Chevy Monza,1975's Motor Trend car of the year. A great episode of one of the classic sitcoms of all time, as we all know. It's really like stepping back in time, when we watched the MTM show on Saturday nights. The print’s color is slightly pink, but still very good. If you don't have a 16mm film projector, the film can be easily transferred to home video through many of your neighborhood camera stores. Price is $50.00 plus postage. Send me an e-mail at mmfish@hotmail.com if you're interested in purchasing the film, or have any questions about it. Thanks for your time, Marshall E-mail:mmfish@hotmail.com |

Hi Pandora and the rest of the MTMS message board readers,
I tried selling the Mary Tyler Moore Show film print on eBay about five weeks ago, with only one bid. That bid was much below the minimum. You'd think there'd be a classic t.v. fan interested in this. So, I thought I'd mention the film print on this message board, the best gathering of MTMS fans on the web. The film print is really fun, and a fond look back at how the show originally aired on CBS. The commercials for Chevrolet and Kelloggs are very reflective of the 1970's. The $50.00 sales price is actually a few dollars less than what I paid for the print, two years ago. Again, it can be easily transferred to home video, if you don't have a 16mm film projector. Send me an e-mail at mmfish@hotmail.com if you're interested in the film, or with any more questions. Take care, Marshall E-mail:mmfish@hotmail.com |
