Talking Nov 22 Episode with Langley News

I thought that this episode had to be one of the funniest. It is so hilarious when Blair and Jo are handcuffed together on TV and Jo is under the desk grabbing the things out of Balirs hands. I was laughing so hard I couldnt breath. Some of the dialogueis really funny Examples:
Jo:Theyre being evicted!
Blair:You mean there being kicked out?
Jo:That is what evicted means Blair.
Theres to many funny scenesespecially the end one where everyone is saying how they wanna hurt blair and jo...I would like others opinion on this episode...Now it is one of my faves

Roy:Whats wrong my little cucumber?
Joon't call me vegetables Roy!

Thumbs up

I've read on other message boards how the show went downhill after Edna opened up Edna's Edible's, and then subsequently opened up "Over our Heads", but I definitely prefer these episodes to the ones from seasons two and three when they were working in the cafeteria. Either I simply don't remember watching these episodes back in the 80s or when it ran on USA back in the mid 90's, or I simply never saw most of the episodes, because it's pretty much like I'm watching a majority of these episodes for the first time.

This particular episode was alright. It seemed a bit farfetched though. If I was Blair, I would have been a bit more agitated since she is doing a live broadcast, and I don't know how big the viewing audience is supposed to be for "Langley News", but Jo put her in so many embarassing situations that in real life it would have led to more actions from Blair than sheepish grins and light hearted giggling. The reaction from Mrs. G. et. al, at the end was definitely the best part of the show, and their comments about wanting to hurt Blair and Jo were a bit more realistic since they were also put in many awkward situations.

I still don't understand who Andy is, why he's there, and what relevency he has to the show. I must have missed the episode where he's introduced. I always associated him with that Cloris Leechman woman, and thought he was dragged into the show on her coattails, but that apparently is not the case. And whats the deal with George Clooney? He has this way of grinning and almost laughing out loud everytime he sputters out a sentence, no matter what the situation.

Red face

You know, your right, I have NO idea who Andy is or why hes there. I always just figured he was a neighbor or something. The first episode I ever saw him in was Out of THe Fire when they come back to find the shop ruined by fire and I had no idea why he was there! Does anybody out there know?

Jo:Today will live in infamy.....

Ok, first of all the episode with andy is the Me and Elenor episode, it was sooo touching at the end i practically cried... heheh, i get touchy!! and it appeared on nick at nite late at 1 in the morning central time... so i think that if you go to bed early you missed the episode, furthermore, i did like this episode, the classic handcuffed together bit!! why do all shows have an episode like that!?!? it is kinda interesting to see how people handle it in different shows, but this one was rather predictiable except for the fact that jo perpously put them on, usually they get caught in them by accidet... hehehe, and i did LOVE the last part where mrs. gs like COME HOME SOON!!! that is the famous quote i have been waiting to hear in an episode for the longest time!!! i hear that download a lot and i didnt know whwere it came from, also the part where jo and blair review their speel and after blair says all hte looks shes supposed to have jo then says and heres wher eyou give your stupid look!!!! hehe, gotta love that!! but you know i personally liked the We Get Letters episode that appeared after this one better because it was more funny and it was an ep where i was SOOOOO pissed when they went to commercials!! im like NOOO!!!! hehe, and i really thought that mrs. g had the affair when she started saying do you know waht day this affair all started on.... it was like... but mrs. g would never do that!!!! it was sooo funny how andy was getting mooned!!! HAHAHAH!!!! and Blairs just like, they wouldnt moon newspapers!!! HAHAHA!!!! and then Mrs. G and Gwen's little rules thing for gossip and i thought tootie was bad!!! SHEESH!!!! it is kinda funny at the end how they sit on the couch and mrs. g tries to sit pretzle leg but she cant... hehe i really thought that episode was funny!! i liked it a lot! but boy that episode Me and Elenor when andy joins the cast really got to me!! well waht i thought was that the ratings for the show went down as soon as mid season 6 rolled around and that is why they built the over our heads so it would catch the attention of people who went for that hip stuff so that they woudl get more people into the hsow to watch it... seasons 2-mid season 6 were at pretty steady rates that were EXCELENT!! and then mid season 6 went downhill SLOWLY... the two most popular seasons were 2 and 5 with the highest ratings... i personally LOVE both of those seasons best, but my fav season are 1, 2, 3, and 5... 4 was pretty good, but 6 was disappointing!! it seemed to lose its touch... hmm... well this is a pretty long letter all abotu some show so see ya all later and MERRY THANKSGINVG!!!

Yeah, I was surprsed when I was laughing out loud at this episode.

I mean, I also went into the Over Our Heads days expecting to hate it. The revamped theme alone is a good enough reason not to watch the show anymore. But the shows are still pretty good so far.

Of course, the Cloris Leachman days start soon, and I know nothing of those.

But you still can't beat the early seasons.

i like the more "upbeat" 80's modernized theme version more. i have only seen 2 ep.s with cloris and the only reason i thought they were good was because she was barely in either of them. i kinda think that no matter who is "in charge" of the girls it would still be a good show because the girls still have each other and they are really what make the show! but i definatly like MRS. G better! :P
JO

------------------
NAT: JO, if you dont get this scholarship, youre gonna be back in the BRONX running around with the little pueblos!
JO: YOUNG DIABLOS!

BLAIR: take them off JO!! I dont want to fail!
Jo: will you read my editorial?
Blair: YES!
JO: You PROMISE?
Blair: YES!!
JO: You SWEAR??
Blair: YESS!!!
Jo: i dont believe you (self satisfied smirk on her face!)

I like the Over Our Heads episodes a lot. They seem more realistic and you get to see more of the girls instead of Mrs.Garret, which i like but i can't speak for anyone else.
Did anyone watch the episode where Natalie was running for mayor and Blair dressed up like a kangaroo and called herself Sore Throat. That was hilarious.Blair's hair sucked though.Oh and when Andy and Tootie and Jo were all behind the counter and they had golf cluibs and baseball bats.I laughed so hard at that. Yeah it was a little more realistic. I got sick of always hearing mrs. G give advice for 15 minutes and waste the episode, I mean sometimes it wass needed but others it just got annoying!

I loved that episode! Yeah Blairs hair really sucked! It was really funny though!
