I just found this story on the main page of SO. It's kinda sad; after I saw the ET on TV Land Special, I figured he'd learned his lesson.

'Taxi' Co-Star Arrested for Drug-Related DUI

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Jeff Conaway, who played Bobby Wheeler on "Taxi" from 1978-1981, was booked on Thursday night for misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

According to the Associated Press, Conaway was stopped in his 1979 black Porsche after driving in and out of lanes on the Harbor Freeway. California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Delgadillo says that the actor was using a central nervous system depressant. He was released on $5,000 bail and will appear in Los Angeles Municipal Court on Thursday, June 12.

Earlier this month, Conaway sued the Mandalay Bay casino in Las Vegas, claiming he was assaulted by a security guard after an evening of gambling last June.

In addition to his multi-year run on "Taxi," Conaway has been a regular on "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "Babylon 5." On the big screen, Conaway played Kenickie in "Grease." He also wrote and directed the 1992 film Bikini Summer 2," which starred Jessica Hahn."

That is sad. He went from being a memorable character on Taxi to directing and writing a movie that starred Jessica Hahn. Sad indeed.
