Can someone explain how the Bernie Mac Show climbed to 17 in the ratings? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I read in the USA Today that the Bernie Climbed all the way to number 17 in th Neilsen Ratings. How the hell did that happen? Were there changes made on the show? I just can't see how that show is in the top 20.

Because of "American Idol." That's the same reason why "Wanda At Large" has been successful.

OK i knew it had to be something. So now that Americann Idol is over the show should fall back down in the ratings.

Well at least that's the only good thing about American Idol - it boosted the ratings for two great shows - Bernie Mac and 24.
