I thought the ACM award show was great tonight! I was disappointed that Shania Twain didn't win top female vocalist, but Martina is very much deserving of the award, I'm glad she won it. I was also Happy for Alan Jjackson and Kenny Chesney. All in all it was an awesome show! Oh I forgot to mention after what I saw from Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks, I won't be listeining to there music again, she will never learn.

What happened to Natalie? What did she say? I didn't watch the show, so I'm kind of in the dark here.

Ah, thanks for answering. That Nat sure is a bold one. Bold indeed.

It was a good show. Congratulations to Martina. I enjoyed Leann Ryhmes singing. George Strait was good. Dixie Chicks did well via Austin with their pretty song. Reba Mac did a fine job of MC. She makes it look easy.

I was reading the CMT message board and Natalie, was getting bashed like you wouldn't believe. I have a feeling Toby Keith isn't going to be very happy, and I wouldn't blame him, but like Wynonna's song says, they should put there differences aside (note Wynonna's song wasn't about Toby and Natalie, but that part of the song both of them should listen to) I personaly think Natalie better be careful what she says or does in this case what she wears, because alot of people are mad at her already. So I agree a very dumb move by Miss Maines.

I agree with Kitt, Reba did an excellent job as always, and the George Strait thing was awesome. LeAnn Ryhmes suprised me, I didn't like her last few songs or videos, but her song tonight was good. I think all the winners were all deserving, although I still wished Shania would have won top female vocalist, but I'm glad she lost it to Martina.

She is definatly bold, but she better realize she isn't helping herself out by making stupid comments, or in this case her message, she has enough people mad at her already, so this definatly won't help ease things, so its confusing to me why she would do that, I know her and Toby have different political views, but tonight she went a little to far. I know one thing for sure, Toby Keith and the Dixie Chicks won't be excangeing Christmas gifts/cards anytime soon.

I'm out of the gossip loop on the Keith/Maines dispute. I didn't know that Toby Keith had dissed Natalie Maines. I noticed the sparkly, pretty blouse with large letters that she was wearing at the concert. I wondered what it was about. Natalie Maines is aware of possible repercussions, yet she chose to state her piece anyway. I give her a lot of credit for doing that. She isn't lashing out at Keith because of his political views she's lashing out at him for whatever it is he must have publically said about her. I won't fault her for that. The Dixie Chicks are speaking with their music, and their packing the houses. I doubt that that will change but even if it does, Natalie Maines is one cool chick if you ask me for putting things on the line for her honor.

I love the dixie chicks no matter what, and I think the reason that Natalie had that on her shirt was because she said that Toby Keith's song "The Angry American" was ignorant and he responded with "I only take criticism from actual songwriters" or something to that degree. I think thats what started the whole feud between Natalie and Toby.
