The episode kicked ass, imo. Oh yeah, I cried. Geez, I even started to get a bit misty eyed when they were showing clips from the previous eps.

I almost cried, especially when Spike fried, but I managed not to. I don't think it's sunk in with me yet that this was the absloute final episode.

Something's bugging me... how can Spike appear on Angel next season if he so obviously fried? Isn't he dust now?

I'm sure they'll cook some storyline up.

And no, I didn't intend that horrible pun.

I haven't seen it yet, because I'm in the stupid pacific time zone but I'm sure I will be sad. I followed this show for 7 years, recorded every episode that aired even the specials, like the E! Buffy Lives, the Buffy documentary they had last week. I love this show!

I don't know how they will have Spike on Angel this fall if he fried to death. I hope Sarah makes guest appearances on Angel once Spike gets there.

Maybe they'll make him human? Idk. It's a good question though. My mom didn't even like the final ep because of Spike frying. I like Spike and it was sad seeing him go, but it was still an awesome ep.

Yeah, I was bawling, but I agree about it not settling in just yet. The whole time, I kept thinking, damn, what's next week gonna be about? Then it pops in my head that this was it. It's gone now.

You have to admit though. WOW! What a way to go out! I really liked the speech about all the Slayers becoming aware at that moment and the little girl playing baseball just smiling. Very nice touch! And the very last scene where they're asking Buffy what to do now makes me think that the door isn't completely closed on Buffy. For now it is. But you never know what the future will bring.

I absolutely loved the episode. I cried when Buffy got stabbed
( most of you know Buffy isn't one of my most favorite characters), I cried when Spike got fried, and although I really hate to admit it, I actually cried when Anya got killed, although I really didn't like her much it was sad to see her die.

I love the episode! I'm so glad that the fanale wasn't a disapointment like Quantum Leap's was!

I wanted to see the little plump Slayer beat her bully up! Wham!

I haven't watched it yet, but have read the final shooting scripts. I couldn't get the tears to stop. I know it's going to be amplified when I actually watch the episode and see it happen.

Did anyone else notice a correlation between Spike's explaining that Wood's mother chose to put her duty above all else, thus leaving him alone.... to the fact that Spike saw Buffy as pushing everyone else out in order to place her slaying duties first? This was an epiphany in my opinion, where Spike gets a glimpse at why Buffy pushes everyone out. I think calling all the potentials to full slayer power is going to give Buffy that much needed normal life where she can properly take care of Dawn. And the script noted how Buffy stands staring back at the hole, smiling. Like something's reeling through that brain of hers. Well, I couldn't figure it out at first. Then, I read where a vampire with a soul who fulfills his destiny is turned into a human. 'S that mean Spike's coming back a human? It seems possible. More possible, Buffy knows this fully well and is assured by it.

I'm a much bigger "Spike and Buffy" fan rather than an "Angel and Buffy" fan, meaning that I think Spike is Buffy's true love. The part where Spike and Buffy just lie together, gathering strength from each other leads me to believe that they are true soul mates. There's a part in each of them that needs the other and is strengthened by the other. I feel that Spike understands Buffy more than Angel ever understood her, also.

So, I think Spike would return as a human to spend the rest of his life wih Buffy and Dawn.
