WOW! What an amazing episode. I think it's the best one so far, I thought the end was hilarious with Robert and Amy's first dance (Elvis' A Little Less Conversation), and Ray's toast (Spelling?) was great. I was shocked when Marie got up to say something but I probably shouldn't have been. I thought that part was really funny especially when Robert was yelling. Anyway's it was a classic and memorable episode and a great way to end of the season. I can't wait till next year which I think will be the best year. I want Robert and Amy to buy a house next door to Raymond and then in the Season 8 credits Ray can be looking out the window and see his parents coming from across the street and Robert and Amy from next door. What did everyone think of this amazing episode?

Great episode with solid laughs. Thanks for posting the name of the song. I knew it was Elvis but unsure of the title. I was expecting Jungle Love, but this was good as well. I hope next season Amy and Robert have to live with Marie and Frank for a couple of episodes. It would have an element of All In the Family that would make things interesting.

I also thought this was a great episode, however, I am tired of the "rude" Marie storyline. I wasn't a bit surprised that the writers used this lame excuse for filler during the wedding. Marie has become a joke. The writers need to get a grip on this issue and start expanding the storylines elsewhere. It's one thing to have her say things here and there, it's totally another to have her be a mean-spirited idiot over and over again. If I was Doris Roberts, I would put my foot down on this issue.
But I thought the dance at the end was funny! |

The dance at the end of the episode was the only really funny thing (IMO). It didn't seem like a wedding, it felt like a funeral. It seemed to me that no one really wanted to be there, even before Marie inturrupted. It wasn't awful, but I was expecting more.

I personally thought it was a great episode too. Ray's toast was great and the dance was funny. However, I do agree with twinkle44301. I think this next season they should really work with totally new storylines, especially now that they have something new to work with. (Amy and Robert)

I'm with you Prowler...the plots and twists are endless now that they have Amy in the fold. Maybe she can be the person who makes Marie realize that if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't. What a way to go out! A nice Marie...
They also need to lighten Debra up a bit. She is getting real bitter (not that you can blame her), but it is painful sometimes to watch her yell at Raymond. I personally hope they bring in her parents and brother on a regular basis. I thought the show when he asked permission to marry Amy was one of the better written shows in a long time. It just was so sad how he was turned down. My favorite show was the one when Robert proposed to Amy. When he walked out from behind the doorway in his dress uniform, I had goosebumps! Of course this is just tv and this show will go on and on in reruns probably longer than I will be on this earth! |

I loved this episode. I wasn't crazy over Marie speaking up at the wedding, but the show founds its footing with Ray's wonderful and heartfelt toast. Most families need some 'editing'.
That dance was great. You can tell they rehearsed a bit for that. I too would like to see Amy's family as semi-regulars. Her brother Peter kills me. I've always been a fan of Chris Elliot. |

It was a pretty good episode. They should've left out the Marie part though.

This was a great episode. I loved Robert and Amy's dance! And Ray's toast was pretty darn hilarious too...
But one thing: Peter? They totally made it sound like he was up to something, like he wanted to keep the wedding from going on or whatever, and then nothing happened! Is there going to be trouble with him next season or what? Hmmm.... |
