Sad Tonight

What is up with them putting on the cartoons so late and then not even showing an episode of Wings. This is an outrage. How dare they. Now I guess I will have to go back to the episodes that I taped to get my fix for tonight.

I know, but the REASON for its pre-emption was kind of bizarre....I mean, showing Jimmy Neutron and other kid's shows at midnight?

That whole "Nick Sleepover" theme was handled all wrong! If they wanted to show a bunch of young girls having a sleepover, doing each other's nails, having facials and staying up all night watching TV, they SHOULD have had a "WINGS" marathon....

THAT'S the kind of TV show that a bunch of silly girls would be watching: "Oooh girls...Look at Joe and Brian....Aren't they CUTE?" (Uncontrollable squeals and giggles from the other girls).

At least with THAT "sleepover party" theme we could have gotten a batch of "WINGS" episodes out of it!

lol yeah. that thing was on until 2 AM. I was thinking, "what parents of kids that young would let them stay up that late even on a saturday?!!"
When I was at the age when I loved Nickelodeon and all their shows, i wasn't even allowed to stay up until 11 on weekends even if i had my friends sleep over.
that was weird....

that's ok tho. i had a new wings episode to watch that i had taped from the night before when i was in RI.

I wondered the exact same thing...about kids staying up all night to watch cartoons. Aint gonna happen! I remember one time my parents let me and my sister, who were the oldest of four children, stay up all night to watch the Nick at Nite shows back in da day, lol. That was back when it really was OLD shows on. Dennis the Menace, Father Knows Best, Mister Ed...back before TV Land.
Besides if people are gonna watch cartoons all night my money's on the fact that they're gonna be 20-somethings who grew up with twisted cartoons from the 70s and 80s. There's adult swim on the Cartoon Network, and among their funniest stuff is, i forget the name exactly of the show, but the description is that "a milkshake, a bag of fries and a meatball solve mysteries". if none of you have seen this show, I suggest if you are ever actually staying up the first half of the night to watch Wings while it's actually airing switch over to the Cartoon Network around 12ish, and you'll be in for some messed-up viewing.
