Smile The toughest Facts of Life question ever...

In the 1980 episode, "Who am I" the final scenes show Tootie & Carl dancing together in a contest. What was the name of the disco song in the background & who performed it?

Jenny O' Hara was in the crowd at the dance at the end of that show. Didn't you notice her at the back of the crowd?

Wow! You mean that Ms. Mahoney was in that episode? That is cool. Why was she an X-tra though? Maybe she did have lines that were cut from the original broadcast. I am glad someone brought up the topic about the Disco song. I fell in love with that song. I thought it was so great. I want to find out who the artist is too and get a copy. The music sounded like it was out of this world. You know space like. I used to play the dancing scene over and over when I taped it off the USA network. I had a chance to see it again on the Blair Tootie project marathon.

They were going to have an episode centered around Blair having sex but Lisa welchel refused to do it because she does not beleive in sex before marriage. I think it's really great that she stood up for what she (and I) beleive in!

Yeah, instead, Natalie had sex with her boyfriend Snake.

Snake? I thought he was in Degrassi Junior High? I remember when nat was dressed as Charlie Chaplin and received a hazing. I tell you there should have been an episode called "preferences revelead" in which Joe [as a lesbian] and Nat [a bi-sexual] do a heated love scene. This would be perfect as Nat's greatest/most embarrasing moment is earning a bad reputation. Nick-At-Nite stressed that. Remember the episode in 1980 "Runaway" where Tootie went to NYC & became involved with a Pimp & his ho's. The thought of Sexual intercourse was the farthest concept in Roller Tootie's mind. Tootie then is A-sexual. What about when Blair & Ms.G auditioned as go-go strippers in the episode "make the money wherever you can." Gosh, this show was just all over the place. I guess this show really was ahead of its time. Is there anyone who can answer the most difficult Facts of Life question of all time?

Come on man. Can we keep the message board clean? We don't need to abuse it with preversion.

It's not the message[s], it's the show. My it does become difficult to stay clean in such a gruby world. Regardless of opinion, sexuality, dancing, a pimp, prostitues, even the raping of a main character were all storylines involved in the episodes. Placing the blame runs both ways. Besides, the concept came from reading other messages posted on the board. Lastly, you can check the imdb there have clearly been cast member who have gone on to do adult-related filmwork. These main not have been long lasting or main characters. However, actors/actresses need to stay working actively.

Going back to the original question...

What was the name of the disco song that Tootie danced to?

Anyone, Anyone??

I don't remember the song. Well yeah Natalie did have sex with Snake. It was like season 8 or 9. (please don't tell me exactly what season) In an effort to save the show they wanted to have one of the "go out into the world". Right Lisa did want to do it. Mindy volunteered. When she dressed up like Charlie Chapeln that episode was baised on rap. Remember that one episode where a reporter comes to town and interviews them. Natalie talks about it.

Lightbulb Hmm....

I dunno, but I was Cruisin' the message board and I came across a topic. I saw someone talk about this episode, and they said the song was something like, "I'm glad you asked me to Stay". I'll look it up on Kazaa to see if it's a song. And match it up.
