Default Is this an accurate defintion of a person who is a HOMEBODY?

Sometimes it makes me laugh that some people don't know what a homebody is. Some people think it's a person who stays in the house ALL THE TIME. I think the accurate definition is a person who stays in the house little more than they go out. Anyone Agree?

I guess you could use either one. My mom calls me a homebody because I dont like going out and hardly ever do.

Well i thought everybody went out atleast once a month. I'm in a little more than I go out. Usually when I go out it's to go on a date and occasionally hang with friends. So in my case, i will say i go out 3 or 4 times a month. Maybe 3 times

Excuse me, but you are saying I only get out once a month? That is the farthest from the truth! Meangya I probably go out atleast 3 times a week depending on my schedule, but I still prefer to vedge out at home.

I can say that since i had access to the web i have been in a little more. But usually when you go out money has to be in your pockets unless aperson haS CREDIT CARDS. But if i'm not shopping , on a date, or going some where with friends, there is no reason for me to be outside.

LOL-no that's not i'm saying, i myself find it more dun, and cheaper to be at home. If i'm dating someone we may go out to dinner every other weekend. But we mainly would make it a blockbuster night

Well in my younger years i didn't need a reason to go outside but i think as i got older, if i'm not buying or shopping, or going on a trip, i have no reason to be out. Plus in the Summer, it's TOO HOT-i usually would come out in the evening.

I prefer the term shut in.

Seriously, I consider myself a homebody, but that only applies on weekdays. i don't like to go out when I have to work the next morning, but on weekends I run errands and walk around the city, then of course, there's my drinking, so that keeps me busy Friday and Saturday...

Exactly, anyone who works 40 hours during the week is not going to be not that much during the week. No matter how nice the weather is.

I'm a workbody. I work 8 hour shifts everyday after school and 12 hours on weekends and holidays. During the summer, it's 12 hours (minimum) everyday. Once I get to college, I'll have more free time, but now it's all about $$$$$.
