Anyone notice that the first two DVD's in the new Family Guy Volume 1 box-set both say "episodes 1-7" on the cover AND disc, which makes the fourth (and last) disc read "episodes 15-21" when there are twenty eight episodes in total? This isn't a big deal as I've been waiting for the Family Guy DVD's forever and am satisfied just to see them finally released, but since there are very few extras, the picture leaves a lot to be desired and the artwork is screwed up, almost makes me think that FOX didn't want to take the time to give us a decent product for the insane price they're charging. Any thoughts? |

I don't really care, as long as it has the oh so hilarous episodes from seasons 1 and 2 I am happy. |

That's my point, no one cares. FOX releases a sub par product to an audience that it forced to wait an eternity for a DVD release (after pre-maturely cancelling the show), creating a HUGE demand and this resignation of "Oh well, at least they released it". We settle for meritocracy because we love the show, and after being held hostage by a conscience free corporation, anything is better than nothing. Why do we pay big dollars for cheesy artwork, fattening the FOX wallet while we're left with a box-set that looks like as if it was designed by a hundred monkeys with a hundred computers?, because we're fans, and we're suckers for Family Guy (key word being suckers). I may love the show, but we just proved that TV truly does have us by the balls. |

You people are morons. The first disc says Episodes 1-7 Season 1 The second disc says Episodes 1-7 Season 2 The third disc says Episodes 8-14 Season 2 and disc 4 says Episodes 14-21 Season 2 There were 7 episodes in season 1 and 21 episodes in season 2. Therefore, it makes perfect sense. Read more closely next time before you embarass yourself again. |

Fine, so that makes sense, still doesn't take away from the fact that FOX put zero effort into this box-set. There's no insert booklet, commentary only on four episodes, hardly any features, and those stupid plastic cases that stop snapping closed after two viewings are annoying as hell. |

Arn't we a whiney little bitch. Dude, shut up. Buying a DVD for the specials features is dumb anyway. What matters is the fact that it has the episodes, now shut up and be happy that you at least have the goddamn show. |
