Default Family Guy - funny show

Posted by RWCTV (12/12/01):

Who thinks that "Family Guy" is one of the best new animated television shows ever made? I think even though it was suppose to copy Simpsons, it goes a few steps further than Simpsons.

I liked this show. Lois always saying, "Petaaaahhhh." & Peter saying, "Aw crap Lois" cracked me up.

I have to agree with you on that TJ.
"Family Guy" in my opinion was the funniest animated show on FOX, but it never got the respect it deserved because of the "Simpsons," which is not nearly as funny as it used to be.
"FG" was bounced around the schedule, often put up against programs it couldn't possibly beat in the ratings.
Now with FOX moving away from the edgier programming that made them unique, "Family Guy" is no more.

I hope they release "FG" on DVD soon.

I got in to Family Guy a while ago because of a coworker. I think it's really funny, way more than most shows. Yes, the earlier episodes are better than more recent ones, I think, but still, it's a good show.

I even heard they are going to make a video game of it that will have all the swearing and stuff that they can't have on the show! How much fun is that going to be to play (I would definitely want to be Stewie, of course)?
