Post If they indeed are doing a reunion movie do you want to see the original girls back?

If Lisa(blair),Mindy(natalie) and Charlotte(mrs.garret) are signed to star and Kim(tootie) and Nancy(jo) are only making cameos than it would be a perfect oppurtunity to get the other original actresses back for this reunion> I can't believe that the producers wouldn't even consider bringing in the first season girls to help fill the void!!! Molly Ringwald is no longer the household name she once was and attempted to do a series a few years ago and it bombed.(heard about her prima donna antics on the set) She is still acting but in small roles on the screen and cable. I wonder if the producers would even consider going there??(i doubt she would accept though)Felice Schacter(nancy)appeared on the E true hollywood story and spoke for all the girls(she looked great)she would be a welcome back addition. The girl that played sueann is a reporter on a local St.louis station, not sure what cindy is doing.(It's also to bad about the late Dana Plato who brought mrs.garret to eastland) Since the facts of life is so successful on nick @nite with a new generation of viewers im sure alot more people would be curious to see all the girls back.

Molly Ringwald is still a big name - I think she will be on the new FOX drama 'The Street' in November. Plus I don't think she liked her time on FOL for some reason..

If they can't get Kim and Nancy in larger roles - I think they should call the whole thing off. If the movie is bad - it will only tarnish the image of a great 80's sitcom. My 2 cents..

I agree with you all the way! If Nancy and Kim are only going to make cameos it will ruin the show, especially if the writers/producers are thinking about killing off one of them.
I think that the original girls should be involved in the reunion. They were part of the show too.

I think Nancy and Should at least make cameos if they don't want to do the movie. It's better than not having them at all. Nancy and Kim helped make the series and should do the entire movie and NOT disappoint the fans. Forget about image. The Facts of Life help make these two into stars and they should not leave it behind. They should have the original girls back for old times sake. Definitely.

Question

I will never understand how producers come up with ideas for a show. I would love to see how the original characters turned out. I also wouldnt mind seeing Mr. Parker secretlt in love with mrs garrett....
