Ward and June don't talk about their parents in much detail. Tonight Ward said that his mother once attended a swim meet of his, and in the middle of it stood up and yelled, "He's drowning!!!" This is the only reference I recall to his mother. Are there others?

I don't even remember that one. Which ep is that from?
Doesn't he mention his mother in the ep where they invite Miss Landers to dinner? I seem to remember him saying something about his mother inviting his teacher to dinner when he was a boy.

In the episode "School Sweater", Ward tells June "Iwouldn't be surprised if my mother didn't like it when I started going out with you." June responds, "Ward you've kept this from me all these years. Your mother didn't like me." Ward then says, "Oh she adored you. I remember one time she told me you'd probably do me alot of good."

Another time, I don't remember the episode, Ward asks June "what's this?" June responds, "that's your baby hairbrush. Your mother gave it to me right after we were married."

Well, I don't know the title, but Wally coached Beaver's footbal team and came up with a secret play called "old 98." Beaver told the secret play to a girl, who told the opposing team.

Not mentioned yet: In "Beaver's Tonsils," Ward tells Beaver of how his mother was with him (Ward) when he went to have his tonsils taken out and she was there right after he woke up after the operation. I think it's another reference to her in "Teacher Comes to Dinner," where June is getting some salad bowls ready for the table and Ward says, "Who gave us these silly-looking bowls?" June replies, "Your mother." [It's also in "Teacher Comes to Dinner" that he says his mother played the piano and his math teacher sang 'I'm Just Wild About Harry.'] There are probably others, and I seem to vaguely recall another one where she embarassed him, either making him wear something 'uncool' or not letting him wear or do something he wanted. But Ward mentioned his father, usually in the line of how strict and painful his discipline was at times, more often than he mentioned his mother.
