I was reading the TV listings for my area and it says that TV Land is playing the "School Daze" (the one where Fred hangs out with the white school teacher) episode tonight. From what I remember reading, I believe that is the final episode. Too bad they couldn't have a proper send-off, but it should be an interesting watch, I've never seen it before..

Yeah, it is the final episode. I wished they had a better send off, too. I don't care what kind of show it is, or how many episodes a show had, it ought to have a good send off. Even these shows that only last one season, it still ought to have a good send off. I'm not pissed and out for revenge because some of my fave. shows didn't get a good final ep, I'm just saying I wished they had a better send off.

I was mistaking, tonight they're showing "Fred Sings the Blues" the episode before the final episode. I would assume that they'll show "School Daze" tommorrow night....

I liked the "School Daze" episode. It actually seemed kind of like a final episode to me.

I was gonna do a thread about this myself. I watched it tonight & didn't realize it was the final episode until they showed that the next airing would be episode 1! I was like- 'That was The Last one!' I don't remember seeing it before, so it was very cool. It was actually pretty funny too. The "I love yous" exchanged at the end was so nice.
In the past, I'd pretty much knocked the seasons past around #3, but I've been watching fairly regularly & I've seen that there were still plenty of funny moments later on. I still maintain, however, that there's a charm to the very early episodes that's unsurpassed. It's interesting to see how Demond still adjusting to Lamont & sorta over acts him in the 1st episode. Dunno if this'll sound dumb ('dummy!') but is it just me, or is there something 'reassuring' about knowing S&S is on the air nightly? I guess it's kinda like, not only just a rerun of the show, but rerun of sorts of our pasts. The 70s. Damn, I love this show! Tha make any sense? |
