Default What is UP with TBS?!

Why in the WORLD did we get 4 episodes of Dawson's Creek in the mornings the past month!? Did the CEO get drunk or something on an early April Fool's party and sign a contract?! And why do they show "Lois and Clark" in the morning now, did Dean Cain threaten to quit the network (as if that'd be a tragedy) if they didn't show his show? Why'd they stop showing Full House? (Even though that's old news, I never got the full story) And here we have Saved by the Bell from 6:00 AM-8:00 ET, then 11:00 AM-12:00 PM ET, again I say, what's going on? Lastly, on this "Non-stop Comedy Block" where we have "The Best sitcoms on TV", why is "Drew Carey" on there? His show didn't/doesn't have that good of ratings, did/does it? [/end rant]

TBS, N@N, MTV, and a whole lot of other networks have been heading down the toilet.

The Drew Carey Show had good ratings in it's first few seasons. It also does very well in syndication, or so I've heard.

Dawson's Creek was airing 4x because it was part of the deal that TBS would air it 4x a day as part of a celebration of the show leading up to the show Series Finale on the WB. Now that the Finale is tommorrow night we will get 2 episodes of DC after the two Lois and Clarkes.

I'm glad to see that "Saved By The Bell" finally got a decent timeslot. It deserves it.

From TNT. I guess the ratings were decent or maybe the contract is almost over and they are just airing it until the contract runs out? anyone know when the contract with Turner Broadcasting runs out for L&C?

Nick@Nite bought the exclusive network rights so that means that TBS could not air it anymore. It will only be seen on Nick@Nite, as well as some local stations. but Nick@Nite is the only NETWORK that will air the show.
