I thought that the "Labor Pains" episode was just "OK"...not BAD, but not "fall off the couch laughing" funny either.
I DID find Antonio's role in this episode interesting though...that of Lowell's "negotiating advisor". He reminded me of Bud Abbott in the old Abbott & Costello movies and TV shows...always giving Lou Costello "expert" advice which got Lou into bigger and bigger trouble. Probably one of the reasons that I didn't think that "Labor Pains" was a "first-rate" episode is that some of the regulars seemed to get "frozen out" when it came to funny lines. In my opinion, the BEST and all-time CLASSIC "Wings" episodes are the ones where the funny lines and laughs are distributed more or less evenly among the cast members. |

I feel the same way. It was funny, but not side-splitting funny. My favorite episodes are the ones where most or all of them are involved.

I just watched this episode and I will have to agree with Lowell on the Spiders. I do not like them.

yeah, it was a good episode, but not one of the best...
I liked Brian and his "wittle blue blankie", as Helen called it. hehe Brian... so cute. lol and I thought this was really funny- Lowell: "Nothin scares me but Boston! ...ok, Boston and spiders.... well, Boston, spiders, and the sound a can makes when it falls out of a soda machine." ![]() that falling can thing is soo random!! lol |
