Default Which sitcom stars did you have a crush on growing up and who do you like now?

Let's face it, every one of us had their favorite sitcom characters that we looked up to when we were young and tried to pattern ourselves after, sometimes going as far as imitating their mannerisms and catch phrases in the schoolyard. Then there were those that remained private and special in our hearts because we loved them so much that we had a huge crush on them which lasted in most cases until their series were cancelled. In my case, I was blissfully attracted to people like Ronne Troup (Polly from "My Three Sons"), Susan Dey (Laurie on "The Partridge Family"), and Eve Plumb (Jan on "The Brady Bunch").

Yes, I admit it. I liked Jan better than Marcia. I'm different that way!

Fast forward to 2003 and if I were to pick someone that has a similar attraction for me among today's sitcom stars, there can only be one name on that list and that is Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe on "Friends"). I first noticed her as Ursula on "Mad About You" and she was an absolute scream, stealing every scene she was in and making me laugh hysterically in some cases with some of the lines that she had. It also helped that she was very good looking! When "Friends" started, I was very glad to see that she was a part of it from the beginning and I looked forward to every episode. Although Phoebe is a little more restrained than Ursula, I still adore her and find her to be not only the funniest person on the show but also the best looking, the most talented and probably the nicest as well.

So that's my story. What's yours?

When I was young, I always had a crush on Christine Taylor. She played Melody Hanson on "Hey Dude."

I liked Stephanie on "Full House." We were the same age, so we grew up together.

I really don't have crushes on celebrities anymore. If I had to pick one, I guess all though I don't watch this show, there's this girl on Good Morning, Miami that's gorgeous. I think her name is Ashley something.

I had (and still have) way too many crushes. Some examples:

-Anson Williams (Happy Days)
-All of the Monkees
-All of the Brady boys
-Rider Strong (Boy Meets World)

Currently, I'm dividing my time between Jeff Conaway (Taxi), Wayne Rogers (M*A*S*H) and Demond Wilson (Sanford and Son). It's no fun to like just one guy...

This isn't a crush, but in 8th grade, I grew my hair out so that it could look like Candace Cameron's.

Crushes then (like before High School):
John Stamos- FH
Mark-Paul Gosselaar- Saved by the Bell

And you know, they're are still hot today.

These aren't all "crushes" by any means, but I do like these guys and watch them in most anything they're in:

Now (meaning high school to now, 5 years after I got out):
Richard Dawson- Hogan's Heroes, Family Feud, etc.
Martin Milner- Route 66 and Adam-12
George Maharis- Route 66
Desi Arnaz Jr.- Here's Lucy and kitchy 70's made for's
Bill Bixby- My Fav Martian, CoEF, etc.
Rock Hudson- McMillan and Wife, corny Doris Day movies
Jack Klugman- The Odd Couple, Quincy M.E.
Davy Jones- He's the short Monkee

A totally talented bunch.

I've been watching Hallmark too much lately!!

When I was growing up, I had a crush on Staci Keanan from "Step by Step." Nowadays I don't have any particular crushes on sitcom stars.
